In this work, we calculated the gamma energy (Eg) of scattered photons in Compton effect, as a function of scattering angle,q. We have used in this work gamma radioactive source, Cisium-137 (137Cs); its intensity is 3,33.105Bq, where it has been oriented towards an aluminum scatterer. The results obtained showed that the energy variation of the scattered photon on an aluminum scatterer, as a function of the scattering angle, is in good agreement with the values obtained by theoretical equation.

In this work, it has been studied Compton Effect using the 662 keV gamma rays from a radioactive source of cesium-137 (137Cs) intensity (3.33×105 Bq) on Aluminum rod (who plays scatter). It has been measured the differential cross section, and the ex perimental values of differential cross section compared with theoretical values given by Klein - Nishina equation.
This research includes designing and executing of an applied model for converting the energy of the offshore sea waves into electrical power. The model runs according to oscillating water column system (OWC) using air turbine, which rotates by the air pressure generated by the sea waves within the energy chamber. The article studies the effect of technological changes on the efficiency of the model and subsequently the number of its turbine's rotation, within the wave parameters under the Syrian coast conditions. Results in form of clear curves and diagrams will be discussed. They will also be analyzed and considered to achieve a suitable suggestion that can improve the system in the future.
Concrete considers as the most popular building material because of the many advantages that it has. This come up with a huge amount of concrete waste. As a way to produce a concrete which is friend to environment, four percentages 0%, 50%, 75%, 100% of coarse recycled aggregate as replacement of natural coarse aggregate in concrete mix are used in this research. The work ability and wet and dry density are presented in this study. The compressive strength at age of 7, 28, 56 days are estimated, also splitting tensile strength and modulus of elasticity are founded at 28 day. The study shows that when The percentage of recycled aggregate exceeds 50% in concrete mix the mechanical properties reduce. When 100% of recycled aggregate is used the compressive strength, splitting tensile strength and elastic modulus decrease by 14%, 22%, 25% respectively, so it is possible to use recycled aggregate concrete in production of non-structural elements.
In this work, it has been recording the alpha particles emitted from an Amerecium-241 source, and scattered by a gold and Aluminum thin foils as a function of the scattering angle q (0o-30o), using a semiconductor detector and Rutherford scattering c hamber. It always has been measuring the differential cross section resulting from this scattering, and experimentally determining the atomic number of Gold and Aluminum. Comparison between experimental and theoretical results shows a good agreement.
This study is aimed to evaluate the role of Platelet Rich Plasma PRP on osteogensis in periosteal distraction. The sample consisted of 12 rabbits from local spices. The sample divided equally into two groups, titanium mesh with holes was used in to elevate the periosteum and the space between the surface of bone and the mesh was filled with collagen sponge, in the test group the sponge was injected with PRP. The rabbits were killed after eight weeks after operation and the samples were prepared for histological study. The histological study of specimens of control group showed formation of small island of osteoid with large areas of connective tissue. While, in test group there was an increasing in bone formation in form of wide area of woven bone and decreasing in connective tissue. We conclude that application of Platelet Rich Plasma PRP lead to improvement in bone formation in periosteal distraction.
