Although many studies use the LIWC lexicon to show the existence of verbal leakage cues in lie detection datasets, none mention how verbal leakage cues are influenced by means of data collection, or the impact thereof on the performance of models. In this paper, we study verbal leakage cues to understand the effect of the data construction method on their significance, and examine the relationship between such cues and models' validity. The LIWC word-category dominance scores of seven lie detection datasets are used to show that audio statements and lie-based annotations indicate a greater number of strong verbal leakage cue categories. Moreover, we evaluate the validity of state-of-the-art lie detection models with cross- and in-dataset testing. Results show that in both types of testing, models trained on a dataset with more strong verbal leakage cue categories---as opposed to only a greater number of strong cues---yield superior results, suggesting that verbal leakage cues are a key factor for selecting lie detection datasets.

The main objective of this article is to study the influence of static and dynamic behavior on the occurrence of contact fatigue on spur gear tooth. For this end, a dynamic model of geared transmission in one degree of freedom, with Crossland crite rion, are used. The motion equation is analyzed step par step in the time in order to determine the dynamic load in all contact points on teeth profile. In this way, the time-varying dynamic loads on tooth flanks are determined and the subsurface stress components can be derived from the classic Hertzian theory.
Aim: The aim of this study was to detect the effect of dressing period of calcium hydroxide medicament on the apical marginal leakage after obturation of root canal system. Materials and Methods: 80 freshly extracted single rooted human teeth were selected ,all the root canals were hand-instrumented. They were randomly divided into four groups of 20 teeth each. Group A has no intracanal medicament , groups (B,C,D) were dressed with Ca(OH)2 paste for a different periods of time (7,14,30) days respectively, groups (B,C,D) were divided into subgroups of 10 teeth according to removing of dressing . The removal of ca(OH)2was done by two ways, 1- By irrigating with distilled water and drying with paper points . 2- Size 40 k-file was used in slightly filing motion up to the working length then irrigated with distilled water and drying with paper points. After that all groups were obturated with lateral compaction technique using gutta-percha points and zinc oxide-eugenol cement. Then the access was sealed with GIC cement. The teeth were immersed into 2% mythylene blue solution ,The specimens were placed in an incubator at 37 C ,with moisture at 100%, for 7 days .After that the roots were sectioned longitudinally and examined with stereomicroscope and liner leakage was measured.
The floor of maxillary sinus starts to get down when the posterior upper teeth are extractedو which demand proceed sinus floor elevation when we plan to put dental implant in this place. The most common complication that happens in this procedure is membrane perforation which took place at range of 5,5- 56.16 %. So the method of sinus lifting with balloon has spread which is considered a safe and affective method and it is indicated especially when there is a small dental loss (1-2 teeth ). The principle of this method depends on pumping a liquid ( saline usually ) into the balloon which causes sinus floor elevating slowly and continuously. The research aims to evaluate bone thickness when sinus floor elevated with balloon when there are adjacent teeth and when there are not. The balloon technique of sinus floor lifting is applied on 30 sinus lifting cases in 27 patients who have more than 2 teeth dental loss in posterior superior area and need sinus lifting for dental implantation in this area. The patients were divided into two groups: the first one included 15 cases of sinus floor lifting with balloon and there are approximate teeth to the edentulous area. The second group included 15 cases of sinus floor lifting with balloon when there are no adjacent teeth. Patients had been followed up in 5 periods using dental cone beam radiography ( after the surgery, after 3 months, after 6 months, after 9 months, after 1 year ). The research showed in the two groups that At confidence level of R = 95 % there were no statistic variations of the range of success, when there are adjacent teeth to the edentulous area and when there are not. The research recommends using balloon technique of sinus floor lifting when there are adjacent teeth and when there are not .
Interpretability or explainability is an emerging research field in NLP. From a user-centric point of view, the goal is to build models that provide proper justification for their decisions, similar to those of humans, by requiring the models to sati sfy additional constraints. To this end, we introduce a new application on legal text where, contrary to mainstream literature targeting word-level rationales, we conceive rationales as selected paragraphs in multi-paragraph structured court cases. We also release a new dataset comprising European Court of Human Rights cases, including annotations for paragraph-level rationales. We use this dataset to study the effect of already proposed rationale constraints, i.e., sparsity, continuity, and comprehensiveness, formulated as regularizers. Our findings indicate that some of these constraints are not beneficial in paragraph-level rationale extraction, while others need re-formulation to better handle the multi-label nature of the task we consider. We also introduce a new constraint, singularity, which further improves the quality of rationales, even compared with noisy rationale supervision. Experimental results indicate that the newly introduced task is very challenging and there is a large scope for further research.
