The study aims to explore the viewpoint of Irbid Private University’s students about
time management, including planning, organizing, directing and supervising, and its
impact on their academic achievement. This study also aims to identify personal
variables influencing time management as well as reasons and obstacles hindering
the students’ academic achievement. A sample of 300 student is selected in order to
collect the primary data. The results show that planning dimension is the higher
among the dimensions of time management in influencing academic achievement
with a coefficient of correlation (.539). There is also is a positive and significant
