This study aimed to investigating the prevalence of Cornell Critical Thinking Test
Level (x) on a sample of talented students in the national Centre for the distinguished
(NCD) in Syria, and to identify the levels of critical thinking among talente
d students, and
whether these differed according to (students’ gender, academic level), the sample
consisted of (167) talented students, the results showed that the participants exhibited an
average level of Critical Thinking, and no Significant differences were found due to
gender, the results also revealed that Significant differences were found due to academic
level for the third academic level.
The aim of current research is to identify the research tendencies among the students of the National Center for the Distinguished in Lattakia, by using a research inclinometer as a measure occupational orientations in the Strong Interest Inventory o
f interests, which was codified (standardized) by the researcher, and the scale has been applied to a sample of 80 students from the National Center for the Distinguished, and the search results found no differences between respondents in the investigative tendency and its key metrics, except for differences in favor of females in science scale.
