Evaluating of several methods to DNA extract from pepper plants Capsicum annuum L to detect viruses belonging to the genus Begomovirus

Several protocols for DNA extraction from leaves of pepper Capsicum annuum L. were evaluated to detect Begomoviruses. The extraction methods comparison were based on DNA quantity and quality. The DNA concentration absorbance for the evaluation of DNA concentration and contamination were measured using spectrophotometer.

Comparative Study For Promastigote & Amastigote Stages Antigens of Cutaneous Leishmania Tropica

The parasitic antigens are of great interest in immune responses and in the strategies for developing vaccines. The aim of this study was to identify the major antigens which are expressed in the two leishmania tropica stages, promastigote & amastigote, employing the western blot analysis using the sera collected from mice immunized with the above mentioned parasite stages' total protein.

دراسة مناعية لليشمانية الجلدية « حبة حلب » في دمشق و ريفها

قمنا من خلال هذا البحث بتغطية بعض الجوانب المناعية للطفيلي، حيث عزل طفيلي الليشمانية من أشخاص مصابين بداء الليشمانية الجلدي، من منطقة الرحيبة (ريف دمشق)، ثم استنبت الطفيلي في البداية على وسط صلب N.N.N بدرجة حرارة ٢٦ ° مئوية، و من ثم على وسط سائل ١٦٤٠ RPMI- بغية تعيين الشروط المثلى للاستنبات (تركيز الطفيلي الأولي، و حجم الوسط)، فحصلنا على منحنى نمو نموذجي لدى استخدام التركيز ٥×٥^١٠ طفيلي/ميلي لترًا، حيث يمر الطفيلي بأطوار نمو واضحة و منفصلة. لاحظنا أيضًا التبدلات الشكلية التي تطرأ على الطفيلي أمامي السوط promastigote في كل طور.
