The eta-deformation of the AdS_5 x S^5 superstring depends on a non-split r matrix for the superalgebra psu(2,2|4). Much of the investigation into this model has considered one particular choice, however there are a number of inequivalent alternatives. This is also true for the bosonic sector of the theory with su(2,2), the isometry algebra of AdS_5, admitting one split and three non-split r matrices. In this article we explore these r matrices and the corresponding geometries. We investigate their contraction limits, comment on supergravity backgrounds and demonstrate their relation to gauged-WZW deformations. We then extend the three non-split cases to AdS_5 x S^5 and compute four separate bosonic two-particle tree-level S-matrices based on inequivalent BMN-type light-cone gauges. The resulting S-matrices, while different, are related by momentum-dependent one-particle changes of basis.

We propose that the Yang-Baxter deformation of the symmetric space sigma-model parameterized by an r-matrix solving the homogeneous (classical) Yang-Baxter equation is equivalent to the non-abelian dual of the undeformed model with respect to a subgr oup determined by the structure of the r-matrix. We explicitly demonstrate this on numerous examples in the case of the AdS_5 sigma-model. The same should also be true for the full AdS_5 x S^5 supercoset model, providing an explanation for and generalizing several recent observations relating homogeneous Yang-Baxter deformations based on non-abelian r-matrices to the undeformed AdS_5 x S^5 model by a combination of T-dualities and non-linear coordinate redefinitions. This also includes the special case of deformations based on abelian r-matrices, which correspond to TsT transformations: they are equivalent to non-abelian duals of the original model with respect to a central extension of abelian subalgebras.
The three-point amplitude is the key building block in the on-shell approach to scattering amplitudes. We show that the classical objects computed by massive three-point amplitudes in gauge theory and gravity are Newman-Penrose scalars in a split-sig nature spacetime, where three-point amplitudes can be defined for real kinematics. In fact, the quantum state set up by the particle is a coherent state fully determined by the three-point amplitude due to an eikonal-type exponentiation. Having identified this simplest classical solution from the perspective of scattering amplitudes, we explore the double copy of the Newman-Penrose scalars induced by the traditional double copy of amplitudes, and find that it coincides with the Weyl version of the classical double copy. We also exploit the Kerr-Schild version of the classical double copy to determine the exact spacetime metric in the gravitational case. Finally, we discuss the direct implication of these results for Lorentzian signature via analytic continuation.
We discuss a minimal realization of the strongly interacting massive particle (SIMP) framework. The model includes a dark copy of QCD with three colors and three light flavors. A massive dark photon, kinetically mixed with the Standard Model hypercha rge, maintains kinetic equilibrium between the dark and visible sectors. One of the dark mesons is necessarily unstable but long-lived, with potential impact on CMB observables. We show that an approximate isospin symmetry acting on the down-type quarks is an essential ingredient of the model. This symmetry stabilizes the dark matter and allows to split sufficiently the masses of the other states to suppress strongly their relic abundances. We discuss for the first time the SIMP cosmology with sizable mass splittings between all meson multiplets. We demonstrate that the SIMP mechanism remains efficient in setting the dark matter relic density, while CMB constraints on unstable relics can be robustly avoided. We also consider the phenomenological consequences of isospin breaking, including dark matter decay. Cosmological, astrophysical, and terrestrial probes are combined into a global picture of the parameter space. In addition, we outline an ultraviolet completion in the context of neutral naturalness, where confinement at the GeV scale is generic. We emphasize the general applicability of several novel features of the SIMP mechanism that we discuss here.
In this paper, we propose a catalog of iterative methods for solving the Split Feasibility Problem in the non-convex setting. We study four different optimization formulations of the problem, where each model has advantageous in different settings of the problem. For each model, we study relevant iterative algorithms, some of which are well-known in this area and some are new. All the studied methods, including the well-known CQ Algorithm, are proven to have global convergence guarantees in the non-convex setting under mild conditions on the problems data.
In light of the Higgs boson discovery we reconsider generation of the baryon asymmetry in the non-minimal split Supersymmetry model with an additional singlet superfield in the Higgs sector. We find that successful baryogenesis during the first order electroweak phase transition is possible within phenomenologically viable part of the model parameter space. We discuss several phenomenological consequences of this scenario, namely, predictions for the electric dipole moments of electron and neutron and collider signatures of light charginos and neutralinos.
