In many new physics scenarios, the particle content of the Standard Model is extended and the Higgs couplings are modified, sometimes without affecting single Higgs production. We analyse two models with additional quarks. In these models, we compute double Higgs production from gluon fusion exactly at leading-order, and present analytical results in the heavy-quark mass ap- proximation. The experimental bounds from precision electroweak measurements and from the measured rate of single Higgs production combine to give significant restrictions for the allowed deviation of the double Higgs production rate from the Standard Model prediction as well as on the branching ratio for the Higgs decay into photons. The two models analysed eventually present a similar Higgs phenomenology as the Standard Model. We connect this result to the magnitude of the dimension six operators contributing to the gluon-fusion Higgs production.

We examined the influence of additional scalar doublet on the parameter space of the Standard Model supplemented with a generation of new vector like leptons. In particular we identified the viable regions of parameter space by inspecting various con straints especially electroweak precision (S, T and U) parameters. We demonstrated that the additional scalar assists in alleviating the tension of electroweak precision constraints and thus permitting larger Yukawa mixing and mass splittings among vector like species. We also compared and contrasted the regions of parameter space pertaining to the latest LHC Higgs to diphoton channel results in this scenario with vector like leptons in single Higgs doublet and pure two Higgs doublet model case.
We study the effect of explicit CP violation in the Higgs sectors of the MSSM in the di-photon decay of the lightest CP-mixed Higgs state. Further it is shown that the gluon fusion production mechanism along with the di-photon decay enhances CP-viola ting effects for a large set of suitably chosen parameter values.
The possibility of identification of an observable CMS $mu^+ mu^-$ excess at 28 GeV in the channel $ppto mu^+ mu^- b bar b$ at $sqrt{s}$=8 TeV and 13 TeV as a manifestation of one of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) Higgs bosons is in vestigated. The MSSM parametric scenarios in the regime of large threshold corrections involving low-mass CP-odd scalar, a 125 GeV CP-even scalar and other Higgs bosons with suitable masses are found, where the alignment limit conditions for the Higgs couplings are respected. Perturbative unitarity bounds and constraints on the electroweak vacuum stability are discussed in the regime of substantial couplings with the top- and bottom superpartners. LHC phenomenology including top-quark decay in such a regime is analyzed.
Vector-boson scattering (VBS) processes probe the innermost structure of electroweak interactions in the Standard Model, and provide a unique sensitivity for new physics phenomena affecting the gauge sector. In this review, we report on the salient a spects of this class of processes, both from the theory and experimental point of view. We start by discussing recent achievements relevant for their theoretical description, some of which have set important milestones in improving the precision and accuracy of the corresponding simulations. We continue by covering the development of experimental techniques aimed at detecting these rare processes and improving the signal sensitivity over large backgrounds. We then summarise the details of the most relevant VBS signatures and review the related measurements available to date, along with their comparison with Standard-Model predictions. We conclude by discussing the perspective at the upcoming Large Hadron Collider runs and at future hadron facilities.

Similarly to the previously studied case of inclusive $tbar t$ production we consider the inclusive $tbar b$ production in $e^+e^-$, gluon~gluon and photon~photon collisions. We show how it is sensitive to new physics, connected to the charged Goldst one sector and possibly generated by Higgs and/or top quark compositeness.
