Similarly to the previously studied case of inclusive $tbar t$ production we consider the inclusive $tbar b$ production in $e^+e^-$, gluon~gluon and photon~photon collisions. We show how it is sensitive to new physics, connected to the charged Goldstone sector and possibly generated by Higgs and/or top quark compositeness.

The top quark pair production $sigma_{tbar{t}}$ is measured in pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 5.02 TeV. The analyzed data have been collected by the CMS experiment at the CERN LHC and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 27.4 /pb. T he measurement is performed by analyzing events with at least one charged lepton. The measured cross section is 69.5 $pm$ 8.4 pb. The result is in agreement with the expectation from the standard model. The impact of the presented measurement on the gluon distribution function is illustrated through a quantum chromodynamic analysis at next-to-next-to-leading order.
We consider b-jet hadroproduction in the quasi-multi-Regge-kinematics approach based on the hypothesis of gluon and quark Reggeization in t-channel exchanges at high energies. The preliminary data on inclusive b-jet and b anti-b-dijet production take n by the CDF Collaboration at the Fermilab Tevatron are well described without adjusting parameters. We find the main contribution to inclusive b-jet production to be the scattering of a Reggeized gluon and a Reggeized b-quark to a b quark, which is described by the effective Reggeon-Reggeon-quark vertex. The main contribution to b anti-b-pair production arises from the scattering of two Reggeized gluons to a b anti-b pair, which is described by the effective Reggeon-Reggeon-quark-quark vertex. Our anaysis is based on the Kimber-Martin-Ryskin prescription for unintegrated gluon and quark distribution functions using as input the Martin-Roberts-Stirling-Thorne collinear parton distribution functions of the proton.
A feasibility study for an experimental analysis searching for $tbar{t}H(Hrightarrow bbar{b})$ production at the LHC and its high luminosity phase is presented in this note. Unlike search strategies currently being used in experimental collaborations , the present analysis exploits jet substructure techniques and focuses on the reconstruction of boosted Higgs bosons, to obtain sensitivity to the signal in a simple cut-based analysis. The $tbar{t} +$ jets background may be constrained in the proposed analysis through a control region with very small signal contamination. Using this analysis strategy, the $tbar{t}H(Hrightarrow bbar{b})$ process could be observed at the LHC, in the semi-leptonic channel alone, with a significance of $5.41pm 0.12$ for $mathcal{L}=300,mbox{fb}^{-1}$. For the same integrated luminosity, in the High Luminosity LHC scenario with an upgraded detector, a significance of $6.13pm 0.11$ may be obtained. The top Yukawa coupling could be measured with a 35% uncertainty using $mathcal{L}=300,mbox{fb}^{-1}$ of LHC data and of 17% at the HL-LHC scenario with $mathcal{L}=3000,mbox{fb}^{-1}$. In the same luminosity scenarios, the signal strength is equally expected to have a 18$%$ and 5$%$ uncertainty, respectively. Finally, it was found that re-clustered jets may be used without loss of efficiency.

The resummation of multiple soft gluon emission affects the production rate and kinematic distributions of $W^+h$ (where h is a Higgs boson) and $t bar b$ pairs at the Tevatron with $sqrt{s}=2$ TeV. Using the Collins-Soper-Sterman resummation formali sm, the production rate is enhanced over the next-to-leading-order (NLO) prediction by 2-3% for the $W^+h$ process, for Higgs boson masses between 80-120 GeV, and over 3% for the $tbar b$ process for $m_t=175$ GeV. After resummation, the $tbar b$ rate changes by 12-13% when $m_t$ is varied by $pm 5$ GeV. Various kinematic distributions are presented for the individual final state particles and for the pair. The explicit radiation of hard gluons in NLO QCD is included also for the $tbar b$ final state.
In many new physics scenarios, the particle content of the Standard Model is extended and the Higgs couplings are modified, sometimes without affecting single Higgs production. We analyse two models with additional quarks. In these models, we compute double Higgs production from gluon fusion exactly at leading-order, and present analytical results in the heavy-quark mass ap- proximation. The experimental bounds from precision electroweak measurements and from the measured rate of single Higgs production combine to give significant restrictions for the allowed deviation of the double Higgs production rate from the Standard Model prediction as well as on the branching ratio for the Higgs decay into photons. The two models analysed eventually present a similar Higgs phenomenology as the Standard Model. We connect this result to the magnitude of the dimension six operators contributing to the gluon-fusion Higgs production.
