We equate various Euler classes of algebraic vector bundles, including those of [BM, KW, DJK], and one suggested by M.J. Hopkins, A. Raksit, and J.-P. Serre. We establish integrality results for this Euler class, and give formulas for local indices at isolated zeros, both in terms of 6-functor formalism of coherent sheaves and as an explicit recipe in commutative algebra of Scheja and Storch. As an application, we compute the Euler classes associated to arithmetic counts of d-planes on complete intersections in P^n in terms of topological Euler numbers over R and C.

We compute the $mathbb{A}^1$-localization of several invariants of schemes namely, topological Hochschild homology ($mathrm{THH}$), topological cyclic homology ($mathrm{TC}$) and topological periodic cyclic homology ($mathrm{TP}$). This procedure is quite brutal and kills the complete

We establish a kind of degree zero Freudenthal Gm-suspension theorem in motivic homotopy theory. From this we deduce results about the conservativity of the P^1-stabilization functor. In order to establish these results, we show how to compute cert ain pullbacks in the cohomology of a strictly homotopy invariant sheaf in terms of the Rost--Schmid complex. This establishes the main conjecture of [BY18], which easily implies the aforementioned results.

In this paper, we generally describe a method of taking an abstract six functors formalism in the sense of Khan or Cisinski-D{e}glise, and outputting a derived motivic measure in the sense of Campbell-Wolfson-Zakharevich. In particular, we use this f ramework to define a lifting of the Gillet-Soue motivic measure.
In this paper we reduce the generalized Hilberts third problem about Dehn invariants and scissors congruence classes to the injectivity of certain Chern--Simons invariants. We also establish a version of a conjecture of Goncharov relating scissors co ngruence groups of polytopes and the algebraic $K$-theory of $mathbf{C}$.
We introduce an infinite variant of hypersurface support for finite-dimensional, noncommutative complete intersections. By a noncommutative complete intersection we mean an algebra R which admits a smooth deformation $Qto R$ by a Noetherian algebra $ Q$ which is of finite global dimension. We show that hypersurface support defines a support theory for the big singularity category $Sing(R)$, and that the support of an object in $Sing(R)$ vanishes if and only if the object itself vanishes. Our work is inspired by Avramov and Buchweitz support theory for (commutative) local complete intersections. In a companion piece, we employ hypersurface support, and the results of the present paper, to classify thick ideals in stable categories for a number of families of finite-dimensional Hopf algebras.
