A simple C++ class structure for construction of a Monte Carlo event generators which can produce unweighted events within relativistic phase space is presented. The generator is self-adapting to the provided matrix element and acceptance cuts. The program is designed specially for exclusive processes and includes, as an example of such an application, implementation of the model for exclusive production of meson pairs $pp rightarrow p M^+M^- p $ in high energy proton-proton collisions.

Event generators are an indispensable tool for the preparation and analysis of particle-physics experiments. In this contribution, physics principles underlying the construction of such computer programs are discussed. Results, within and beyond the Standard Model of particle physics, obtained with a new event generator are presented. This generator is capable to describe signal processes for exotic physics and their backgrounds at electron-positron and proton-(anti)proton colliders.
Parton distribution functions (PDFs) describe the structure of hadrons as composed of quarks and gluons. They are needed to make predictions for short-distance processes in high-energy collisions and are determined by fitting to cross section data. W e review definitions of the PDFs and their relations to high-energy cross sections. We focus on the PDFs in protons, but also discuss PDFs in nuclei. We review in some detail the standard statistical treatment needed to fit the PDFs to data using the Hessian method. We discuss tests that can be used to critically examine whether the assumptions are indeed valid. We also present some ideas of what one can do in the case that the tests indicate that the assumptions fail.
Electroweak instantons are a prediction of the Standard Model and have been studied in great detail in the past although they have not been observed. Earlier calculations of the instanton production cross section at colliders revealed that it was exp onentially suppressed at low energies, but may grow large at energies (much) above the sphaleron mass. Such calculations faced difficulty in the breakdown of the instanton perturbation theory in the high-energy regime. In this paper we review the calculation for the electroweak instanton cross section using the optical theorem, including quantum effects arising from interactions in the initial state and show that this leads to an exponential suppression of the cross section at all energies, rendering the process unobservable.
We develop a Monte-Carlo event generator based on combination of a parton production formula including the effects of parton saturation (called the DHJ formula) and hadronization process due to the Lund string fragmentation model. This event generato r is designed for the description of hadron productions at forward rapidities and in a wide transverse momentum range in high-energy proton-proton collisions. We analyze transverse momentum spectra of charged hadrons as well as identified particles; pion, kaon, (anti-)proton at RHIC energy, and ultra-forward neutral pion spectra from LHCf experiment. We compare our results to those obtained in other models based on parton-hadron duality and fragmentation functions.

An exclusive event generator is designed for the $e^+e^-$ scan experiments with the initial state radiation effects up to the second order correction included. There are seventy hadronic decay modes available with the effective center-of-mass energy coverage from the two pion mass threshold up to about 6 GeV. The achieved accuracy of initial state radiation correction reaches the level the generator KKMC achieved. The uncertainty associated with the calculation of correction factor to the initial state radiation is dominated by the measurements of the energy-dependence Born cross section. The generator is coded within the framework of BesEvtGen.
