We consider nonstandard interactions of neutrinos with electrons arising from a new light spin-1 particle with mass of tens of GeV or lower and couplings to the neutrinos and electron. This boson is not necessarily a gauge boson and is assumed to have no mixing with standard-model gauge bosons. Adopting a model-independent approach, we study constraints on the flavor-conserving and -violating couplings of the boson with the leptons from a number of experimental data. Specifically, we take into account the (anti)neutrino-electron scattering and e^+ e^- -> nu nubar gamma measurements and keep explicitly the dependence on the new particle mass in all calculations. We find that one of the two sets of data can provide the stronger constraints, depending on the mass and width of the boson. Also, we evaluate complementary constraints on its separate flavor-conserving couplings to the electron and neutrinos from other latest experimental results.
We present a detailed analysis on nonstandard neutrino interactions (NSI) with electrons including all muon and electron (anti)-neutrino data from existing accelerators and reactors, in conjunction with the ``neutrino counting data (e- e+ -> nu nu ga
We point out that light gauge boson mediators could induce new interference effects in neutrino-electron scattering that can be used to enhance the sensitivity of neutrino-flavor-selective high-intensity neutrino experiments, such as DUNE. We particu
New limits on the weak mixing angle and on the electron neutrino effective charge radius in the low energy regime, below 100 MeV, are obtained from a combined fit of all electron-(anti)neutrino electron elastic scattering measurements. We have includ
As atmospheric neutrinos propagate through the Earth, vacuum-like oscillations are modified by Standard-Model neutral- and charged-current interactions with electrons. Theories beyond the Standard Model introduce heavy, TeV-scale bosons that can prod
Nonstandard interactions (NSIs), possible subleading effects originating from new physics beyond the Standard Model, may affect the propagation of neutrinos and eventually contribute to measurements of neutrino oscillations. Besides this, $ mu-tau $
