We present a reformulation of loop quantum gravity with a cosmological constant and no matter as a Fermi-liquid theory. When the topological sector is deformed and large gauge symmetry is broken, we show that the Chern-Simons state reduces to Jacobsons degenerate sector describing 1+1 dimensional propagating fermions with nonlocal interactions. The Hamiltonian admits a dual description which we realize in the simple BCS model of superconductivity. On one hand, Cooper pairs are interpreted as wormhole correlations at the de Sitter horizon; their number yields the de Sitter entropy. On the other hand, BCS is mapped into a deformed conformal field theory reproducing the structure of quantum spin networks. When area measurements are performed, Cooper-pair insertions are activated on those edges of the spin network intersecting the given area, thus providing a description of quantum measurements in terms of excitations of a Fermi sea to superconducting levels. The cosmological constant problem is naturally addressed as a nonperturbative mass-gap effect of the true Fermi-liquid vacuum.

In this paper, we study a holographic dual of a confined fermi liquid state by putting a charged fluid of fermions in the AdS soliton geometry. This can be regarded as a confined analogue of electron stars. Depending on the parameters such as the mas s and charge of the bulk fermion field, we found three different phase structures when we change the values of total charge density at zero temperature. In one of the three cases, our confined solution (called soliton star) is always stable and this solution approaches to the electron star away from the tip. In both the second and third case, we find a confinement/deconfinement phase transition. Moreover, in the third one, there is a strong indication that the soliton star decays into an inhomogeneous solution. We also analyze the probe fermion equations (in the WKB approximation) in the background of this soliton star geometry to confirm the presence of many fermi-surfaces in the system.
We investigate analytically the asymptotic critical behavior at large chemical potential of the conformal field living at the AdS boundary of a four-dimensional spacetime Einstein gravity. The threshold values of the chemical potential for the appear ance of condensate states are discrete, equal spacing, with the gap approaches zero logarithmically in the limit $Trightarrow 0$. Numerical results surprisingly show that, the result apply even for states with low quantum number, as low as for the first or second excited states of the condensate, especially on the liquid side of the black hole van der Waals - like phase transition. We postulate that, at the exact limit $T = 0$ where the gap is zero, all excite states of the condensate are activated above a finite chemical potential, suggesting a new quantum phase transition as a function of the chemical potential.
We argue that the Black Hole-Neutron Star (BH-NS) binaries are the natural astrophysical probes of quantum gravity in the context of the new era of multi-messenger astronomy. In particular, we discuss the observable effect of enhanced black-hole mass loss in a BH-NS binary, due to the presence of an additional length scale tied to the intrinsic non-commutativity of quantum spacetime in quantum gravity.

We consider the electrostatic field of a point charge coupled to Horava-Lifshitz gravity and find an exact solution describing the space with a surplus (or deficit) solid angle. Although, theoretically in general relativity, a surplus angle is hardly to be obtained in the presence of ordinary matter with positive energy distribution, it seems natural in Horava-Lifshitz gravity. We present the sudden disappearance and reappearance of a star image as an astrophysical effect of a surplus angle. We also consider matter configurations of all possible power law behaviors coupled to Horava-Lifshitz gravity and obtain a series of exact solutions.
