We report on some ideas concerning the nature of the X(3872) resonance and the need for approximately equal charged and neutral components of $D bar{D}^* +cc$. Then we discuss how some hidden charm states are obtained from the interaction between vec
tor mesons with charm and can be associated to some of the charmonium-like X,Y,Z states. Finally we discuss how the nature of these states could be investigated through different types of radiative decay.
We present the formalism for the decay of dynamically generated scalar mesons with open- or hidden-charm and give results for the decay of D^*_{s0} (2317) to gamma D_s^* plus that of a hidden charm scalar meson state predicted by the theory around 3700 MeV decaying into gamma J/psi.
In this presentation I explain our framework for dynamically generating resonances from the meson meson interaction. Our model generates many poles in the T-matrix which are associated with known states, while at the same time new states are predicted.
We analyze the decay modes of the three $[frac 12frac 12^-]_{S=0,1}$ and $[frac 12frac 32^-]_{S=1}$ non-strange pentaquarks with hidden charm and bottom, predicted by holographic QCD in the heavy quark limit. In leading order, the pentaquarks %are co
mposed of heavy-light mesons in bulk bound to an instanton core. They are degenerate and stable by heavy quark symmetry. At next to leading order, the spin interactions lift the degeneracy and cause the pentaquarks to decay. We show that the open charm (bottom) decay modes dwarf the hidden charm (bottom) ones, with total widths that are consistent with those recently reported by LHCb for charm pentaquarks. Predictions for bottom pentaquarks are given.
The observation by BESIII and LHCb of states with hidden charm and open strangeness ($cbar c qbar s$) presents new opportunities for the development of a global model of heavy-quark exotics. Here we extend the dynamical diquark model to encompass suc
h states, using the same values of Hamiltonian parameters previously obtained from the nonstrange and hidden-strange sectors. The large mass splitting between $Z_{cs}(4000)$ and $Z_{cs}(4220)$ suggests substantial SU(3)$_{rm flavor}$ mixing between all $J^P ! = ! 1^+$ states, while their average mass compared to that of other sectors offers a direct probe of flavor octet-singlet mixing among exotics. We also explore the inclusion of $eta$-like exchanges within the states, and find their effects to be quite limited. In addition, using the same diquark-mass parameters, we find $P_c(4312)$ and $P_{cs}(4459)$ to fit well as corresponding nonstrange and open-strange pentaquarks.
