Charmed tetraquarks $T_{cc}=(ccbar{u}bar{d})$ and $T_{cs}=(csbar{u}bar{d})$ are studied through the S-wave meson-meson interactions, $D$-$D$, $bar{K}$-$D$, $D$-$D^{*}$ and $bar{K}$-$D^{*}$, on the basis of the (2+1)-flavor lattice QCD simulations wit h the pion mass $m_{pi} simeq $410, 570 and 700 MeV. For the charm quark, the relativistic heavy quark action is employed to treat its dynamics on the lattice. Using the HAL QCD method, we extract the S-wave potentials in lattice QCD simulations, from which the meson-meson scattering phase shifts are calculated. The phase shifts in the isospin triplet ($I$=1) channels indicate repulsive interactions, while those in the $I=0$ channels suggest attraction, growing as $m_{pi}$ decreases. This is particularly prominent in the $T_{cc} (J^P=1^+,I=0)$ channel, though neither bound state nor resonance are found in the range $m_{pi} =410-700$ MeV. We make a qualitative comparison of our results with the phenomenological diquark picture.
We have performed low-temperature specific-heat measurements in magnetic fields for a single crystal UBe13. It has been observed that our sample exhibits a superconducting transition at an intermediate temperature between previously reported values f or two variant samples called H type and L type. The specific heat C(T) of our sample shows a T^3 behavior in the temperature range below 0.7 Tc, which is similar to the behavior of the H-type sample, suggesting the existence of point nodes in the superconducting gap function. We have obtained the upper-critical-field curves Hc2 for the [001], [110], and [111] crystal axes, which show no anisotropy at least down to the lowest measured temperature of 0.5 K. We have also derived the Maki parameter kappa2, and it has been revealed that the kappa2 steeply decreases isotropically upon cooling just below Tc. Paramagnetic effects and the symmetry of Cooper pairing of UBe13 are discussed.
The scattering length and effective range of the piSigma channel are studied in order to characterize the strangeness S=-1 meson-baryon scattering and the Lambda(1405) resonance. We examine various off-shell dependence of the amplitude in dynamical c hiral models to evaluate the threshold quantities with the constraint at the KbarN threshold. We find that the piSigma threshold parameters are important to the structure of the Lambda(1405) resonance and provide further constraints on the subthreshold extrapolation of the KbarN interaction.
