Charmed tetraquarks $T_{cc}=(ccbar{u}bar{d})$ and $T_{cs}=(csbar{u}bar{d})$ are studied through the S-wave meson-meson interactions, $D$-$D$, $bar{K}$-$D$, $D$-$D^{*}$ and $bar{K}$-$D^{*}$, on the basis of the (2+1)-flavor lattice QCD simulations with the pion mass $m_{pi} simeq $410, 570 and 700 MeV. For the charm quark, the relativistic heavy quark action is employed to treat its dynamics on the lattice. Using the HAL QCD method, we extract the S-wave potentials in lattice QCD simulations, from which the meson-meson scattering phase shifts are calculated. The phase shifts in the isospin triplet ($I$=1) channels indicate repulsive interactions, while those in the $I=0$ channels suggest attraction, growing as $m_{pi}$ decreases. This is particularly prominent in the $T_{cc} (J^P=1^+,I=0)$ channel, though neither bound state nor resonance are found in the range $m_{pi} =410-700$ MeV. We make a qualitative comparison of our results with the phenomenological diquark picture.

We present the ground and excited state spectra of doubly charmed baryons from lattice QCD with dynamical quark fields. Calculations are performed on anisotropic lattices of size 16^3 X 128, with inverse spacing in temporal direction 1/a_t = 5.67(4) GeV and with a pion mass of about 390 MeV. A large set of baryonic operators that respect the symmetries of the lattice yet which retain a memory of their continuum analogues are used. These operators transform as irreducible representations of SU(3) symmetry for flavor, SU(4) symmetry for Dirac spins of quarks and O(3) for spatial symmetry. The distillation method is utilized to generate baryon correlation functions which are analysed using the variational fitting method to extract excited states. The lattice spectra obtained have baryonic states with well-defined total spins up to 7/2 and the pattern of low lying states does not support the diquark picture for doubly charmed baryons. On the contrary the calculated spectra are remarkably similar to the expectations from models with an SU(6)X O(3) symmetry. Various spin dependent energy splittings between the extracted states are also evaluated.
We present the ground and excited state spectra of singly, doubly and triply charmed baryons by using dynamical lattice QCD. A large set of baryonic operators that respect the symmetries of the lattice and are obtained after subduction from their con tinuum analogues are utilized. Using novel computational techniques correlation functions of these operators are generated and the variational method is exploited to extract excited states. The lattice spectra that we obtain have baryonic states with well-defined total spins up to 7/2 and the low lying states remarkably resemble the expectations of quantum numbers from SU(6) $otimes$ O(3) symmetry. Various energy splittings between the extracted states, including splittings due to hyperfine as well as spin-orbit coupling, are considered and those are also compared against similar energy splittings at other quark masses.
We present ground state spectra of mesons containing a charm and a bottom quark. For the charm quark we use overlap valence quarks while a non-relativistic formulation is utilized for the bottom quark on a background of 2+1+1 flavors HISQ gauge confi gurations generated by the MILC collaboration. The hyperfine splitting between $1S$ states of $B_c$ mesons is found to be $56^{+4}_{-3}$ MeV. We also study the baryons containing only charm and bottom quarks and predict their ground state masses. Results are obtained at three lattice spacings.
The spectrum of excitations of triply-charmed baryons is computed using lattice QCD including dynamical light quark fields. Calculations are performed on anisotropic lattices with temporal and spatial spacings a_t = 0.0351(2) and a_s ~ 0.12 fm respec tively and with pion mass of about 390 MeV. The spectrum obtained has baryonic states with well-defined total spin up to 7/2 and the low-lying states closely resemble the expectation from models with an SU(6)X O(3) symmetry. Energy splittings between extracted states, including those due to spin-orbit coupling in the heavy quark limit are computed and compared against data at other quark masses.

The electromagnetic form factors of the spin-3/2 $Omega$ baryons, namely $Omega$, $Omega_c^ast$, $Omega_{cc}^ast$ and $Omega_{ccc}$, are calculated in full QCD on $32^3times 64$ PACS-CS lattices with a pion mass of 156(9) MeV. The electric charge rad ii and magnetic moments from the $E0$ and $M1$ multipole form factors are extracted. Results for the electric quadrupole form factors, $E2$, are also given. Quark sector contributions are computed individually for each observable and then combined to obtain the baryon properties. We find that the charm quark contributions are systematically smaller than the strange-quark contributions in the case of the charge radii and magnetic moments. $E2$ moments of the $Omega_{cc}^ast$ and $Omega_{ccc}$ provide a statistically significant data to conclude that their electric charge distributions are deformed to an oblate shape. Properties of the spin-1/2 $Omega_c$ and $Omega_{cc}$ baryons are also computed and a thorough comparison is given. This complete study gives valuable hints about the heavy-quark dynamics in charmed hadrons.
