In this paper, we construct a bialgebra theory for associative conformal algebras, namely antisymmetric infinitesimal conformal bialgebras. On the one hand, it is an attempt to give conformal structures for antisymmetric infinitesimal bialgebras. On the other hand, under certain conditions, such structures are equivalent to double constructions of Frobenius conformal algebras, which are associative conformal algebras that are decomposed into the direct sum of another associative conformal algebra and its conformal dual as $mathbb{C}[partial]$-modules such that both of them are subalgebras and the natural conformal bilinear form is invariant. The coboundary case leads to the introduction of associative conformal Yang-Baxter equation whose antisymmetric solutions give antisymmetric infinitesimal conformal bialgebras. Moreover, the construction of antisymmetric solutions of associative conformal Yang-Baxter equation is given from $mathcal{O}$-operators of associative conformal algebras as well as dendriform conformal algebras.
In this paper, we give Maurer-Cartan characterizations as well as a cohomology theory for compatible Lie algebras. Explicitly, we first introduce the notion of a bidifferential graded Lie algebra and thus give Maurer-Cartan characterizations of compa tible Lie algebras. Then we introduce a cohomology theory of compatible Lie algebras and use it to classify infinitesimal deformations and abelian extensions of compatible Lie algebras. In particular, we introduce the reduced cohomology of a compatible Lie algebra and establish the relation between the reduced cohomology of a compatible Lie algebra and the cohomology of the corresponding compatible linear Poisson structures introduced by Dubrovin and Zhang in their study of bi-Hamiltonian structures. Finally, we use the Maurer-Cartan approach to classify nonabelian extensions of compatible Lie algebras.
We study $phi_epsilon$-coordinated modules for vertex algebras, where $phi_epsilon$ with $epsilon$ an integer parameter is a family of associates of the one-dimensional additive formal group. As the main results, we obtain a Jacobi type identity and a commutator formula for $phi_epsilon$-coordinated modules. We then use these results to study $phi_epsilon$-coordinated modules for vertex algebras associated to Novikov algebras by Primc.

A special symplectic Lie group is a triple $(G,omega, abla)$ such that $G$ is a finite-dimensional real Lie group and $omega$ is a left invariant symplectic form on $G$ which is parallel with respect to a left invariant affine structure $ abla$. In t his paper starting from a special symplectic Lie group we show how to ``deform the standard Lie group structure on the (co)tangent bundle through the left invariant affine structure $ abla$ such that the resulting Lie group admits families of left invariant hypersymplectic structures and thus becomes a hypersymplectic Lie group. We consider the affine cotangent extension problem and then introduce notions of post-affine structure and post-left-symmetric algebra which is the underlying algebraic structure of a special symplectic Lie algebra. Furthermore, we give a kind of double extensions of special symplectic Lie groups in terms of post-left-symmetric algebras.
Motivated to simplify the structure of tensor representations we give a new set of generators for the Yangian $Y(sl(n))$ using the principal realization in simple Lie algebras. The isomorphism between our new basis and the standard Cartan-Weyl basis is also given. We show by example that the principal basis simplifies the Yangian action significantly in the tensor product of the fundamental representation and its dual.
A non-abelian phase space, or a phase space of a Lie algebra is a generalization of the usual (abelian) phase space of a vector space. It corresponds to a parakahler structure in geometry. Its structure can be interpreted in terms of left-symmetric a lgebras. In particular, a solution of an algebraic equation in a left-symmetric algebra which is an analogue of classical Yang-Baxter equation in a Lie algebra can induce a phase space. In this paper, we find that such phase spaces have a symplectically isomorphic property. We also give all such phase spaces in dimension 4 and some examples in dimension 6. These examples can be a guide for a further development.

Rota-Baxter algebras were introduced to solve some analytic and combinatorial problems and have appeared in many fields in mathematics and mathematical physics. Rota-Baxter algebras provide a construction of pre-Lie algebras from associative algebras . In this paper, we give all Rota-Baxter operators of weight 1 on complex associative algebras in dimension $leq 3$ and their corresponding pre-Lie algebras.
We find that a compatible graded left-symmetric algebra structure on the Witt algebra induces an indecomposable module of the Witt algebra with 1-dimensional weight spaces by its left multiplication operators. From the classification of such modules of the Witt algebra, the compatible graded left-symmetric algebra structures on the Witt algebra are classified. All of them are simple and they include the examples given by Chapoton and Kupershmidt. Furthermore, we classify the central extensions of these graded left-symmetric algebras which give the compatible graded left-symmetric algebra structures on the Virasoro algebra. They coincide with the examples given by Kupershmidt.

We introduce a notion of left-symmetric bialgebra which is an analogue of the notion of Lie bialgebra. We prove that a left-symmetric bialgebra is equivalent to a symplectic Lie algebra with a decomposition into a direct sum of the underlying vector spaces of two Lagrangian subalgebras. The latter is called a parakahler Lie algebra or a phase space of a Lie algebra in mathematical physics. We introduce and study coboundary left-symmetric bialgebras and our study leads to what we call $S$-equation, which is an analogue of the classical Yang-Baxter equation. In a certain sense, the $S$-equation associated to a left-symmetric algebra reveals the left-symmetry of the products. We show that a symmetric solution of the $S$-equation gives a parakahler Lie algebra. We also show that such a solution corresponds to the symmetric part of a certain operator called ${cal O}$-operator, whereas a skew-symmetric solution of the classical Yang-Baxter equation corresponds to the skew-symmetric part of an ${cal O}$-operator. Thus a method to construct symmetric solutions of the $S$-equation (hence parakahler Lie algebras) from ${cal O}$-operators is provided. Moreover, by comparing left-symmetric bialgebras and Lie bialgebras, we observe that there is a clear analogue between them and, in particular, parakahler Lie groups correspond to Poisson-Lie groups in this sense.
