This search include making laboratory tests on sandy soil samples ,wich were taken from Damascus Suburb (Alkastal-Maarona- Alsallema) and from Hama(Alsalameya), physical and clasificated tests were made besides oedometer tests, two limited cases w ere studied :maximum loose and maximum dense for each soil. Values of deformation modulus (Eoed) were determined from oedometric compression curves at various compression levels, and particle shape parameters (sphericity-roundness-elongation) were founded for each soil then the experimental equations between last parameters and deformation modulus were concluded.
In this research a study was carried out to evaluate the effect of adding random distribution plastic waste fiber inside soil on the geotechnical properties of clayey soil. The research is based on experimental method through many stages.
In this research the influence of the fineness of natural pozzolana and lime on the properties of compaction , unconfined compressive strength and linear shrinkage of clayey soil was experimented the finessess of natural pozzolana used in this re earch were 3500,4000,4500 cm²/g , finessess of lime 4000 , 5000 , 6000 cm²/g.
This research presents an empirical relationship between modulus of elasticity with compressive strength concrete that is prepeard from localized materials and containing several perecentages of natural pozzolan (0 ,10 ,15, 20)% , also for tow cem ent quantity (350 ,400 ) Kg/m3 and for tow ages(28 ,90 ) day .Then comparing the experimentally obtained result with the mechanical properties calculated using the recommend relationship from the various design codes. A new empirical relationship between elastic modulus, and compressive strength for concrete containing natural pozzolan is proposed.
Being critical, the stability of clayey soil, is a priority for the civil engineer in constructions of roads and buildings. This experimental study comes in the context of examination of the effectiveness of menial stabilizers. Lime (L), Natural P ozzolana (NP), and Combinations of both, were examined to enhance the characteristics of compaction, consistency and to restrict the shrinkage behavior of clayey soil.
