We have provided in this paper an attempt to study the deformation of oil wellbore using modeling because of its capability to analyze the different hypotheses which give us a vision of what is happening or could happen . We have built a model of the phenomenon being studied are expressed in a horizontal section of the oil well on the geological layer , after loading forces and stresses, we analyzed the results ( deformations ) for the sandstone ( elastic rock ) and clay (plastic rock ), where it is shown- by making a hypothesis fit with abnormalities in the state of the stresses in the oil fields - that the anomalies in the state of stresses of principles geological stresses plays an important role in the deformation of oil wellbore.

A parametric study of pile load test requires a numerical modeling of this test and a study of the effect of each parameter of the material model used on pile load settlement curve shape and on the extrapolated value of pile ultimate bearing capacity . Some real pile load tests are numerically modeled and calibrated using two types of material models: Mohr-coulomb MC and Hardening soil HS. The obtained results from HS are better than those obtained from MC, so material model HS is adopted to generate pile load settlement curves. It is shown that the relation between the extrapolated value of pile ultimate bearing capacity and each parameter of the material model used is linear, and there is only one value for each parameter of HS in which the calculated value of bearing capacity identifies with the normal value in DIN-Code. The main economic benefit obtained from this research is the ability of generating pile load settlement curves in addition to doing a parametric study using a numerical modeling method without any need to do pile load field tests. The practical scientific aim is to accumulate and collect information that can be used as a database for static pile load tests.
As oil spells, it is important to act as quickly as possible in order to minimize damages that can affect people and natural life. Thus, for the necessary operations to be done on time following an accident, numerical simulation of oil spell is an essential tool. The purpose of this paper is to develop a 2-D numerical model for the main operations that control and affect the trajectory and fate of an oil spill. Two additional operations had been considered, those are evaporation and dissolution which lead to lose some of the spilled oil even in air or water column. Afterwards, oil spill scenarios had been created and spreading of an oil spill, whose density and initial position are known, had been examined. Using MATLAB, flow simulations had been made and results had been discussed.
In this research, a simple cylinder concrete model was analyzed. This model is simple and single in the center of cylinder for plain reinforcement and cubic model for deformed reinforcement. If we made a tension load on the reinforcement bar until we reach to the destruction by using non-linear analysis for the three dimension subjects by using the finite element ANSYS to study the bond stress between the concrete and the reinforcement.
Structural Frame system is considers as an earthquake resisting structural systems. On the other hand, many techniques were used to improve the resistance against lateral loads. where Steel Plate Shear Wall fixed within frame span is one of those techniques. This research aims to develop the Strip model of Partial Steel Plate Shear Walls with Reinforced-Concrete Frame with opening parallel to beams.
In this article we studied two types of teeth, spherical and conical one. We compared the results with a previous study for the flat tooth. the study of stresses field under these three teeth show that in the soft rocks we prefer to use conical to oth because it is easy to be Implanted in the rock, and this was confirmed by the values of stresses under the tooth. Either in hard rock and due to our need for big values of pressure to shatter the rock we prefer to use spherical tooth because of its property of forming tow cons of stresses under tooth and therefore can be good in drilling hard rock..
