This research proposes the development of Optical Network Units by introducing an all optical Filter. This optical filter can treat WDM and PDM technology at the same time enabling us to send a channel on the horizontal and vertical of the same wavelength .The hybrid WDM-PDM technology allows to delivery double channels for users without any changing in infrastructure between optical central office and user . Firstly , this article prove the idea of hybrid WDM-PDM technology by OptiSystem7.0 simulator, secondly we study proposed all optical Filter for three cases of optical access: WDMPDM( Downstream), WDM(Downstream)/( TDM(Upstream) , WDM(Downstream)/ WDM(Downstream) recommended by the international communication federation, ICF.

مع التطور المتسارع لتقنيات الاتصال , والطلب المتزايد على ارسال واستقبال المعلومات مهما كان نوعها بالسرعة والدقة العالية ادعت الحاجة الى تطوير اساليب ضغط ونقل واستقبال ومعالجة المعلومات من اجل تغطية كافة الاحتياجات المتزايدة من حين الى اخر . ف ي هذا العمل يتم عرض نظام (تقنية) OFDM المتبعة او التي تشكل العمود الفقري في انظمة LTE ((الجيل الرابع)) التي هي بشكل مختصر انظمة اتصالت لاسلكية . الهدف هو عرض ما تقدمه هذه التقنية من ايجابيات وسلبيات وعرض ايضا بعض التطبيقات التي تستخدم هذه التقنية . اعتمدت في هذا العمل على بعض الكتب العلمية المرفقة في قائمة المراجع بالاضافة الى استخدام رسوم توضيحية بعضها من تلك المراجع ولقسم الاكبر تم تحريره عن طريق برامج الرسوم الشهيرة على الحاسب والغاية من ذلك هي تبسيط الرسوم الى درجة توضيح الفكرة المطلوبة منها فقط او التي اردت ايصالها من دون غيرها .
The chromatic dispersion of fiber is a major factor causing distortion of the light signals, and if not being addressed using accurate compensators it will lead to a significant deterioration in the performance of optical system. The value of chr omatic dispersion is not fixed along the fiber, and this necessitates the use of tunable dispersion compensators which need information about the value of dispersion which is done by dispersion monitoring. This research is Interested in analyzing chromatic dispersion technique based on the measuring of clock tone power of transmitted data and which is commensurate with the dispersion of the fiber. We found the relationship between signal frequency with range and accuracy of measurement. Also, the advantage of this technique to provide feedback signal to tunable dispersion compensator. The results show the extent of the improvement made in network performance. VPItransmissionmaker program was used to simulate the technique proposed.
This study examines the most important component of NG-PON2 networks and the characteristics of these network through a model of a system consisting of four pairs of wavelengths to serve 8 subscribers with symmetrical transmission on both tow links equal to 40Gbps, The proposed model designed using OptiSystem program shows good results that give a clear view of the behavior of such systems.

OPNET was used simulation software to get the results of the analysis and simulation of new technology and compare it with the old technology.
Optical filter is one of the most accurate and important elements in pure optical communication network which uses wavelength division multiplexing (WDM). This research includes studying Acousto Optic Tunable Filter (AOTF) in linear anisotropic mediu m, which depends on the interaction principle between optical waves and acoustic waves. This paper describes simulating and testing the AOTF in MATLAB/Simulink software which is a strong tool for simulating and designing various systems. We have achieved an AOTF model, and created special block which could be added to MATLAB Simulink Library. We have also evaluated the performance of this filter and its ability to select one wavelength between the set combined by WDM. Moreover, we have studied the effect of acoustic wave frequency, its velocity, the properties of the crystal used in manufacturing it, and other influent parameters, along the selected wavelength.
