The inclined shear restoration technique was used in this research as the primary method to remove the effects of fault displacements. These displacements were resulted from the impact of the NE-SW trending extensional forces. The inclined shear restoration technique was applied to the NE-SW trending seismic section (Inline A2157) along the Elward Area, using 2D move software. The vertical shear restoration technique was used as a complementary method to remove the effects of folding associated with faulting, especially to formations under the Base Upper Cretaceous Unconformity (BKU). The inclined shear and the vertical shear restoration techniques contrib uted to build many geological sections according to depth seismic section (Inline A 2157). These sections showed the Tectonic setting of the study area from Upper Ordovician till current time.

The correct study of the reservoir leads us to develop drilling programs suitable for producing stratum. In addition, this makes us do successful operations to achieve the best recover factor ,within the convenient time and at the lowest appropri ate cost. This study will help us to avoid or solve many of the problems associated with the production processes and the most important problem of rehydration .In this research I did a geological and reservoir study of the Jido Field which is one of the fields of the Euphrates Company and it is located within the area of graben Euphrates in Deir Azure to the east of Syria, where recoverable reserves which are estimated in this field is about 83 million barrels. The objective of the study was to know the specifications and behavior of the reservoir and fluid inside and the possibility of a Hydrodynamic connection between blocks ,where this information is taken into account when calculating recoverable reserves and the assign of technological indicators for investment.
Al Rutba Formation , bellowing to the upper Cretaceous, is one the main formation of the stratigraphical coumn of Euphrate Depression. It is importance becomes from that it can statute the principle petroleum reservoir in high member of the depres sion fields. Producing oil and the natural gas. The importance of this group is to be the main reservoir of oil in various fields of low oil producing natural gas. The present study is based on subsurface geological data, presented by cores, well logs and chemical results of the analyses laboratory.
Annabk anticline lies in the westernmost side of the Palmyride chain, which is located in the northern Arabian Plate. It is a 70 km long, NE-SW oriented asymmetrical anticline, belonging to the southern part of the Palmyrides. The stratigraphical column cropping out in the domain of this anticline consists of Cretaceous and Paleogene strata of marine facies, together with Neogene and Quaternary continental deposits. The aim of this study is to investigate the tectonic evolution of this area, by reconstructing its paleostress history, through analysing the brittle deformations, which were recorded in the outcropping rocks.
The present work is concerned with studying and analyzing the satellite imagery to extract and integrate lineament by using logic operator technique (Baridi J., 2000), in turn of lineaments analysis and interpretation to clarify the general struct ural framework of the south eastern part of Sinai which have complex tectonic. This study revealed that there is sort of tectonic rotation, affecting the area in clockwise direction. Accordingly the tectonic activity seaward is believed to be stronger than that landward, i.e. the stability in the zone behind the shore line is less than that in the land side. Since the tectonic activity in the study area comes from sea towards land, along an E-W direction, the Gulf of Suez tectonism is suggested to effect the study area, where the tectonic activity decrease from N to S. The surface activities i.e. (erosion) decrease toward the north, south and shore line of the Gulf basin more than that at its middle part. The tectonic activity in this study classified according to the lineaments thickness to reveal the shallow, intermediate and Deep seated tectonic.
The various faults that hit the Tanak area were identified by studying the seismic sections in several directions and with specific exclusions, and intensifying those exclusions to increase their accuracy of clarity by using the most appropriate t ypes of seismic attribute maps for the 3D survey (Edge Enhancement map - Artificial Illumination map - Azimuth map - Dip map - Seismic Amplitude map - Polarity map - Frequency map) for accurate check of these faults and cracks in the studied area especially for Al- Rutbah formation. We found helpful and supportive indicators in order to determine its optimal location by applying previous seismic maps on its seismic surface. These maps were compared with each other after being exported to the Petrel program besides the time map of the study area. As a result, the fault boundaries were determined as accurately as possible by using the programs: (Geoframe - Petrel -Word).
