The main purpose of this paper is to introduce a general approach to calculate the heating load of evaporators and condensers in refrigeration plants. This approach is based on both analytical-graphical and iteration methods. The general heat resistance has been calculated by easier and less complicated procedures. Heat load in any heat exchanger is obtained using produced tables and graphs according to the exchanger type.

Oleic acid is a fatty acid known as omega-9, which is found naturally in many plant sources and animal products and is found in the form of tri-glycerides (oleic acid esters). In this research, the oleic acid was isolated and purified with a high d egree of purity up to 99% of the fatty acids extracted from olive oil, corn oil and palm oil with a yield of at least 87% of its percentage in the oils used by the use of crystalline urea as well as crystalline selective cooling . GC-FID was also used for direct quantitative analysis of oleic acid and other fatty acids.
The aim of this study is investigate in using refrigerants mixtures as substitute to R134a in a testing compression refrigeration cycle designed to work with a mass of 100g of R134a without make changing or modification in the cycle. The new mixtur e that made it is ozone-friendly, safe for using and consists of R134a, propane R290, butane R600, we use three various types of this mixture and the coefficient of performance (COP) and other properties was compared with R134a on the same conditions and on different evaporation temperature. The results shows the refrigerant mixture (M40) has higher coefficient of performance (COP) than that of R134a by about 7.77% and increasing the refrigeration effect about 30% and decreasing the discharge temperature from compressor 3.2% compared with R134a. This study support possibility of using refrigerant mixtures in refrigeration cycle that designed to work with pure refrigerant (single component) without making any change in the cycle also it support the possibility of using refrigerant that have an excellent thermodynamic properties and environmentally friendly like Propane and butane but there are some warning from using it because their flaming.
In order to calculate the cross curve of stability related to ship form the water line of equal volume corresponding to each load draught should be determined. Therefore complex and long steps of mathematical calculations should be done for each ve ssel displacement. The goal of this research is to build a mathematical model enables the determination of cross curve of stability related to ship form for all ship displacements. This model is based on reading of the transverse sections of the ship projected on to a vertical transverse plane of the body plan. This method does not need to previous assumptions to perform calculations therefore the calculations accuracy could be increased in comparison with other methods currently in use to evaluate the transvers stability for ships. The efficiency of this method has been proven in saving time as well as in giving good results by comparing it with the analytical results for ships of box and trigonometric forms. The comparison includes Pozduinin approximate method which is largely used in ship world as well as the stability curves for real commercial ship. The good results of evaluation of cross curves of stability by the proposed method (scanning sections method) allow to generalize its use for validation of ship stability and other works research.
In this work, we have found exact traveling wave solutions for generalized Fitzhug- Nagumo equation with arbitrary constant coefficients, by using the homogeneous balance method, The obtained results shows that these solutions changes with the spec ials solution of Ricati ODE with arbitrary constant coefficients , and shows that this method is simple, direct and very efficient for solving this kind of nonlinear PDEs, It can be applied to nonlinear PDEs which frequently arise in engineering sciences, mathematical physics and other scientific real-time applications fields.
This experiment was conducted at Kharabo farm, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Damascus. A total of 252 chicks of Japanese quail breeder females were distributed on the first day of life into two groups, Gicks in G1 were reared from 1-28 day s of age under ideal required temperature according to their age, while chicks in G2, were subjected to heat stress from 8 am to 5 pm at 42 °C from the first day of hatching until 28 day of age and to the ideal required temperature from 5 pm until 8 am. Chicks of each group were distributed into three subgroups, with three replicates per subgroup.
