Research over the past years has focused on electromagnetic waves and meta-materials. These structures are designed to give electromagnetic properties that cannot be produced by traditional, well known natural structures. Meta-materials obtain their electromagnetic properties from their structures, not from their components. Meta-materials have new properties that define different mechanisms for electromagnetic wave propagation. These materials have been studied theoretically and have been used in many applications, especially microwaves and photonic fields. This research depends on these kinds of material, explains them, and analyzes the electromagnetic properties that yield from putting columns from these slabs with negative permittivity and permeability coefficient (MMs) in a fractal distribution of a natural medium. This research also compares the resulting properties with the electromagnetic properties that yield natural materials distributed the same way. We use the HFSS simulator which depends on the finite element method for calculating transmission and reflection coefficient for these structures.

In last decade, many of researches have proposed to study materials with periodic structures,These structures can be engineered to realize novel electromagnetic properties and to achieve behaviors that are not found in naturally materials. These ma terials have negative permittivity and permeability .Those are called meta-material or Left Hand Material (LHM), They are fabricated, studied and analyzed within different applications of microwave and optical communication. Recently, the microwave engineering applications of artificial metamaterials have been widely discussed and various novel microwave components were achevid for example, filters, antennas and fiber optic. This paper studys and analyzes the reflection from fractal distribution of MMs layers in RHM medium, using the recursive method, and applies it in the design of microwave narrow band filters.
Knowledge graph embedding, representing entities and relations in the knowledge graphs with high-dimensional vectors, has made significant progress in link prediction. More researchers have explored the representational capabilities of models in rece nt years. That is, they investigate better representational models to fit symmetry/antisymmetry and combination relationships. The current embedding models are more inclined to utilize the identical vector for the same entity in various triples to measure the matching performance. The observation that measuring the rationality of specific triples means comparing the matching degree of the specific attributes associated with the relations is well-known. Inspired by this fact, this paper designs Semantic Filter Based on Relations(SFBR) to extract the required attributes of the entities. Then the rationality of triples is compared under these extracted attributes through the traditional embedding models. The semantic filter module can be added to most geometric and tensor decomposition models with minimal additional memory. experiments on the benchmark datasets show that the semantic filter based on relations can suppress the impact of other attribute dimensions and improve link prediction performance. The tensor decomposition models with SFBR have achieved state-of-the-art.
Recently PGB (photonic band gap) filters show a great development. Here we will present two different PGB filters with lattice etched in the ground plane. The rejection band characteristic is function of the number and shape of elements etched. Th ese filters are modelling by the FWCIP method.
