In this paper we investigate the solution of generalized distributed order diffusion equations with composite time fractional derivative by using the Fourier-Laplace transform method. We represent solutions in terms of infinite series in Fox $H$-functions. The fractional and second moments are derived by using Mittag-Leffler functions. We observe decelerating anomalous subdiffusion in case of two composite time fractional derivatives. Generalized uniformly distributed order diffusion equation, as a model for strong anomalous behavior, is analyzed by using Tauberian theorem. Some previously obtained results are special cases of those presented in this paper.

This paper deals with the investigation of the computational solutions of an unified fractional reaction-diffusion equation, which is obtained from the standard diffusion equation by replacing the time derivative of first order by the generalized fractional time-derivative defined by Hilfer (2000), the space derivative of second order by the Riesz-Feller fractional derivative and adding the function phi(x,t) which is a nonlinear function overning reaction. The solution is derived by the application of the Laplace and Fourier transforms in a compact and closed form in terms of the H-function. The main result obtained in this paper provides an elegant extension of the fundamental solution for the space-time fractional diffusion equation obtained earlier by Mainardi et al. (2001, 2005) and a result very recently given by Tomovski et al. (2011). Computational representation of the fundamental solution is also obtained explicitly. Fractional order moments of the distribution are deduced. At the end, mild extensions of the derived results associated with a finite number of Riesz-Feller space fractional derivatives are also discussed.
We examine initial-boundary value problems for diffusion equations with distributed order time-fractional derivatives. We prove existence and uniqueness results for the weak solution to these systems, together with its continuous dependency on initial value and source term. Moreover, under suitable assumption on the source term, we establish that the solution is analytic in time.
We investigate diffusion equations with time-fractional derivatives of space-dependent variable order. We examine the well-posedness issue and prove that the space-dependent variable order coefficient is uniquely determined among other coefficients of these equations, by the knowledge of a suitable time-sequence of partial Dirichlet-to-Neumann maps.

We propose diffusion-like equations with time and space fractional derivatives of the distributed order for the kinetic description of anomalous diffusion and relaxation phenomena, whose diffusion exponent varies with time and which, correspondingly, can not be viewed as self-affine random processes possessing a unique Hurst exponent. We prove the positivity of the solutions of the proposed equations and establish the relation to the Continuous Time Random Walk theory. We show that the distributed order time fractional diffusion equation describes the sub-diffusion random process which is subordinated to the Wiener process and whose diffusion exponent diminishes in time (retarding sub-diffusion) leading to superslow diffusion, for which the square displacement grows logarithmically in time. We also demonstrate that the distributed order space fractional diffusion equation describes super-diffusion phenomena when the diffusion exponent grows in time (accelerating super-diffusion).
The Greens function method which has been originally proposed for linear systems has several extensions to the case of nonlinear equations. A recent extension has been proposed to deal with certain applications in quantum field theory. The general solution of second order nonlinear differential equations is represented in terms of a so-called short time expansion. The first term of the expansion has been shown to be an efficient approximation of the solution for small values of the state variable. The proceeding terms contribute to the error correction. This paper is devoted to extension of the short time expansion solution to non-linearities depending on the first derivative of the unknown function. Under a proper assumption on the nonlinear term, a general representation for Greens function is derived. It is also shown how the knowledge of nonlinear Greens function can be used to study the spectrum of the nonlinear operator. Particular cases and their numerical analysis support the advantage of the method. The technique we discuss grants to obtain a closed form analytic solution for non-homogeneous non-linear PDEs so far amenable just to numerical solutions. This opens up the possibility of several applications in physics and engineering.
