The dental wastes, if not dealt with properly, cause serious human and
environmental consequences. The aim of this study was to evaluate the handling and disposal of dental
wastes in private dental clinics in Syria.
According to the rise of people infected with hepatitis B,C and HIV Viruses,
and the leak of data on infection control methods is employed in dental clinics in Syria, So the aim of this
study is to investigate infection control knowledge and practices in dental private clinics and dental
collages.
