A silicate catalyst prepared which has a mezopore type (MCM-41)
,by manner that condensation where the interaction between Tetra
Ethyl Ortho Silicate (TEOS) with 3-Mercapto Propyl Tri-methoxy
Silane (MPTS), in the presence of superficial active su
bstance
{Cetyl Trimethyl Ammonium Bromide(C 16 TAB)}at room
temperature.
The process of changing the surface hydophilic of the catalyst has
done by using substance( Hexa methyl disilazane), which
symbolized by the symbol (HMDS).
Hetrocyclic compounds 5-(5-R-2-Furfurlidene)– barbituric acid were
obtained and their physical and chemical properties were studied. Their
structures were identified by spectoroscopic methods. This study proved by
1H-NMR Spectroscopy data that these compounds exist in S-cis form.
