Control charts have been applied in this research, as a
measure of Statistical Quality Control (SQC), to control the quality
of cotton-polyester blended yarns produced at Al-Wleed Spinning
Company. This method is not currently applied at the compa
ny,
and it is used in this research to check whether or not the
production process is statistically in control, and whether or not
the variations in quality characteristics are random and cannot be
controlled or assignable and can be dealt with.
