Patients with skeletal open bites are characterized by a long facial morphology characterized by increased anterior facial elevation and posterior rotation of the mandible. Orthodontic treatment of this type of malocclusion is difficult.
This study aimed to evaluate the effect of low-level laser therapy
(LLLT) on orthodontic treatment time reduction throughout leveling
and alignment stage.
We can conclude depending on this study results that LLLT is an
effective method for orthodontic archwire change acceleration and
consequently for reducing the orthodontic treatment time.
This study aims to evaluate the effect of intrusion method on the
occlusal relationships during the Anterior Open Bite treatment by
applying Decortication and Low Level Laser by using posterior bite
block to intrude the posterior segment by analyzing study casts.
