The research aims to identify the concepts of citizenship
contained in the book of social studies to fifth grade of basic
education and the degree of contribution of teachers in their
development.
The researcher used the descriptive analytical me
thod , and has
prepared a list of concepts and setting the standard for analysis in
the light of the list, and then analyze the book, and then design a
questionnaire to measure the degree of contribution of teachers in
the development of the concepts of citizenship .
