The characterization of the pointwise limits of the sequences of Swik{a}tkowski functions is given. Modifications of Swik{a}tkowski property with respect to different topologies finer than the Euclidean topology are discussed.

In this paper, we study some properties of the ring $C(X)_F$ of all real valued functions which are continuous except on some finite subsets of $X$. We show that $C(X)_F$ is closed under uniform limit if and only if the set of all non-isolated points of $X$ is finite. We also initiate and investigate the zero divisor graph of the ring $C(X)_F$.

We answer several questions of I.Protasov and E.Zelenyuk concerning topologies on groups determined by T-sequences. A special attention is paid to studying the operation of supremum of two group topologies.
In this paper, we review several results from singularly perturbed differential equations with multiple small parameters. In addition, we develop a general conceptual framework to compare and contrast the different results by proposing a three-step p rocess. First, one specifies the setting and restrictions of the differential equation problem to be studied and identifies the relevant small parameters. Second, one defines a notion of equivalence via a property/observable for partitioning the parameter space into suitable regions near the singular limit. Third, one studies the possible asymptotic singular limit problems as well as perturbation results to complete the diagrammatic subdivision process. We illustrate this approach for two simple problems from algebra and analysis. Then we proceed to the review of several modern double-limit problems including multiple time scales, stochastic dynamics, spatial patterns, and network coupling. For each example, we illustrate the previously mentioned three-step process and show that already double-limit parametric diagrams provide an excellent unifying theme. After this review, we compare and contrast the common features among the different examples. We conclude with a brief outlook, how our methodology can help to systematize the field better, and how it can be transferred to a wide variety of other classes of differential equations.

Given two compact sets, $E$ and $F$, on the unit circle, we study the class of subharmonic functions on the unit disk which can grow at the direction of $E$ and $F$ (sets of singularities) at different rate. The main result concerns the Blaschke-type condition for the Riesz measure of such functions. The optimal character of such condition is demonstrated.
The class of generating functions for completely monotone sequences (moments of finite positive measures on $[0,1]$) has an elegant characterization as the class of Pick functions analytic and positive on $(-infty,1)$. We establish this and another s uch characterization and develop a variety of consequences. In particular, we characterize generating functions for moments of convex and concave probability distribution functions on $[0,1]$. Also we provide a simple analytic proof that for any real $p$ and $r$ with $p>0$, the Fuss-Catalan or Raney numbers $frac{r}{pn+r}binom{pn+r}{n}$, $n=0,1,ldots$ are the moments of a probability distribution on some interval $[0,tau]$ {if and only if} $pge1$ and $pge rge 0$. The same statement holds for the binomial coefficients $binom{pn+r-1}n$, $n=0,1,ldots$.
