An algebraic method is devised to look for non-local symmetries of the pseudopotential type of nonlinear field equations. The method is based on the use of an infinite-dimensional subalgebra of the prolongation algebra $L$ associated with the equations under consideration. Our approach, which is applied by way of example to the Dym and the Korteweg-de Vries equations, allows us to obtain a general formula for the infinitesimal operator of the non-local symmetries expressed in terms of elements of $L$. The method could be exploited to investigate the symmetry properties of other nonlinear field equations possessing nontrivial prolongations.

We study all the symmetries of the free Schrodinger equation in the non-commutative plane. These symmetry transformations form an infinite-dimensional Weyl algebra that appears naturally from a two-dimensional Heisenberg algebra generated by Galilean boosts and momenta. These infinite high symmetries could be useful for constructing non-relativistic interacting higher spin theories. A finite-dimensional subalgebra is given by the Schrodinger algebra which, besides the Galilei generators, contains also the dilatation and the expansion. We consider the quantization of the symmetry generators in both the reduced and extended phase spaces, and discuss the relation between both approaches.

In an earlier paper (A. N. Kochubei, {it Pacif. J. Math.} 269 (2014), 355--369), the author considered a restriction of Vladimirovs fractional differentiation operator $D^alpha$, $alpha >0$, to radial functions on a non-Archimedean field. In particul ar, it was found to possess such a right inverse $I^alpha$ that the change of an unknown function $u=I^alpha v$ reduces the Cauchy problem for a linear equation with $D^alpha$ (for radial functions) to an integral equation whose properties resemble those of classical Volterra equations. In other words, we found, in the framework of non-Archimedean pseudo-differential operators, a counterpart of ordinary differential equations. In the present paper, we study nonlinear equations of this kind, find conditions of their local and global solvability.
This paper aims at presenting the first steps towards a formulation of the Exact Renormalization Group Equation in the Hopf algebra setting of Connes and Kreimer. It mostly deals with some algebraic preliminaries allowing to formulate perturbative re normalization within the theory of differential equations. The relation between renormalization, formulated as a change of boundary condition for a differential equation, and an algebraic Birkhoff decomposition for rooted trees is explicited.
We consider new Abelian twists of Poincare algebra describing non-symmetric generalization of the ones given in [1], which lead to the class of Lie-deformed quantum Minkowski spaces. We apply corresponding twist quantization in two ways: as generatin g quantum Poincare-Hopf algebra providing quantum Poincare symmetries, and by considering the quantization which provides Hopf algebroid describing the class of quantum relativistic phase spaces with built-in quantum Poincare covariance. If we assume that Lorentz generators are orbital i.e.do not describe spin degrees of freedom, one can embed the considered generalized phase spaces into the ones describing the quantum-deformed Heisenberg algebras.
The study of the heat-trace expansion in noncommutative field theory has shown the existence of Moyal nonlocal Seeley-DeWitt coefficients which are related to the UV/IR mixing and manifest, in some cases, the non-renormalizability of the theory. We s how that these models can be studied in a worldline approach implemented in phase space and arrive to a master formula for the $n$-point contribution to the heat-trace expansion. This formulation could be useful in understanding some open problems in this area, as the heat-trace expansion for the noncommutative torus or the introduction of renormalizing terms in the action, as well as for generalizations to other nonlocal operators.
