We consider the vectorial analogue of the thin free boundary problem introduced in cite{CRS} as a realization of a nonlocal version of the classical Bernoulli problem. We study optimal regularity, nondegeneracy, and density properties of local minimizers. Via a blow-up analysis based on a Weiss type monotonicity formula, we show that the free boundary is the union of a regular and a singular part. Finally we use a viscosity approach to prove $C^{1,alpha}$ regularity of the regular part of the free boundary.

In this paper, we proceed to study the nonlocal diffusion problem proposed by Li and Wang [8], where the left boundary is fixed, while the right boundary is a nonlocal free boundary. We first give some accurate estimates on the longtime behavior by c onstructing lower solutions, and then investigate the limiting profiles of this problem when the expanding coefficient of free boundary converges to $0$ and $yy$, respectively. At last, we focus on two important kinds of kernel functions, one of which is compactly supported and the other behaves like $|x|^{-gamma}$ with $gammain(1,2]$ near infinity. With the help of some upper and lower solutions, we obtain some sharp estimates on the longtime behavior and rate of accelerated spreading.

We consider a free boundary problem on cones depending on a parameter c and study when the free boundary is allowed to pass through the vertex of the cone. We show that when the cone is three-dimensional and c is large enough, the free boundary avoid s the vertex. We also show that when c is small enough but still positive, the free boundary is allowed to pass through the vertex. This establishes 3 as the critical dimension for which the free boundary may pass through the vertex of a right circular cone. In view of the well-known connection between area-minimizing surfaces and the free boundary problem under consideration, our result is analogous to a result of Morgan that classifies when an area-minimizing surface on a cone passes through the vertex.
In this paper we consider a free boundary problem which models the spreading of an invasive species whose spreading is enhanced by the changing climate. We assume that the climate is shifting with speed c and obtain a complete classification of the l ong-time dynamical behaviour of the species. The model is similar to that in [9] with a slight refinement in the free boundary condition. While [9], like many works in the literature, investigates the case that unfavourable environment is shifting into the favourable habitat of the concerned species, here we examine the situation that the unfavourable habitat of an invasive species is replaced by a favourable environment with a shifting speed c. We show that a spreading-vanishing dichotomy holds, and there exists a critical speed$c_0$ such that when spreading happens in the case $c < c_0$, the spreading profile is determined by a semi-wave with forced speed c, but when $c geq c_0$, the spreading profile is determined by the usual semi-wave with speed $c_0$.
We consider a free boundary problem on three-dimensional cones depending on a parameter c and study when the free boundary is allowed to pass through the vertex of the cone. Combining analysis and computer-assisted proof, we show that when c is less than 0.43, the free boundary may pass through the vertex of the cone.
The parabolic obstacle problem for the fractional Laplacian naturally arises in American option models when the assets prices are driven by pure jump Levy processes. In this paper we study the regularity of the free boundary. Our main result establis hes that, when $s>frac12$, the free boundary is a $C^{1,alpha}$ graph in $x$ and $t$ near any regular free boundary point $(x_0,t_0)in partial{u>varphi}$. Furthermore, we also prove that solutions $u$ are $C^{1+s}$ in $x$ and $t$ near such points, with a precise expansion of the form [u(x,t)-varphi(x)=c_0bigl((x-x_0)cdot e+a(t-t_0)bigr)_+^{1+s}+obigl(|x-x_0|^{1+s+alpha}+ |t-t_0|^{1+s+alpha}bigr),] with $c_0>0$, $ein mathbb{S}^{n-1}$, and $a>0$.
