Here in this paper, it is tried to obtain and compare the ML estimations based on upper record values and a random sample. In continue, some theorems have been proven about the behavior of these estimations asymptotically.

In this article, inferences about the multicomponent stress strength reliability are drawn under the assumption that strength and stress follow independent Pareto distribution with different shapes $(alpha_1,alpha_2)$ and common scale parameter $thet a$. The maximum likelihood estimator, Bayes estimator under squared error and Linear exponential loss function, of multicomponent stress-strength reliability are constructed with corresponding highest posterior density interval for unknown $theta.$ For known $theta,$ uniformly minimum variance unbiased estimator and asymptotic distribution of multicomponent stress-strength reliability with asymptotic confidence interval is discussed. Also, various Bootstrap confidence intervals are constructed. A simulation study is conducted to numerically compare the performances of various estimators of multicomponent stress-strength reliability. Finally, a real life example is presented to show the applications of derived results in real life scenarios.
We study the distribution of the ratio of two central Wishart matrices with different covariance matrices. We first derive the density function of a particular matrix form of the ratio and show that its cumulative distribution function can be express ed in terms of the hypergeometric function 2F1 of a matrix argument. Then we apply the holonomic gradient method for numerical evaluation of the hypergeometric function. This approach enables us to compute the power function of Roys maximum root test for testing the equality of two covariance matrices.
Here, in this paper it has been considered a sub family of exponential family. Maximum likelihood estimations (MLE) for the parameter of this family, probability density function, and cumulative density function based on a sample and based on lower r ecord values have been obtained. It has been considered Mean Square Error (MSE) as a criterion for determining which is better in different situations. Additionally, it has been proved some theories about the relations between MLE based on lower record values and based on a random sample. Also, some interesting asymptotically properties for these estimations have been shown during some theories.
We introduce the position-dependent probability distribution function (PDF) of the smoothed matter field as a cosmological observable. In comparison to the PDF itself, the spatial variation of the position-dependent PDF is simpler to model and has di stinct dependence on cosmological parameters. We demonstrate that the position-dependent PDF is characterized by variations in the local mean density, and we compute the linear response of the PDF to the local density using separate universe N-body simulations. The linear response of the PDF to the local density field can be thought of as the linear bias of regions of the matter field selected based on density. We provide a model for the linear response, which accurately predicts our simulation measurements. We also validate our results and test the separate universe consistency relation for the local PDF using global universe simulations. We find excellent agreement between the two, and we demonstrate that the separate universe method gives a lower variance determination of the linear response.
In the common time series model $X_{i,n} = mu (i/n) + varepsilon_{i,n}$ with non-stationary errors we consider the problem of detecting a significant deviation of the mean function $mu$ from a benchmark $g (mu )$ (such as the initial value $mu (0)$ o r the average trend $int_{0}^{1} mu (t) dt$). The problem is motivated by a more realistic modelling of change point analysis, where one is interested in identifying relevant deviations in a smoothly varying sequence of means $ (mu (i/n))_{i =1,ldots ,n }$ and cannot assume that the sequence is piecewise constant. A test for this type of hypotheses is developed using an appropriate estimator for the integrated squared deviation of the mean function and the threshold. By a new concept of self-normalization adapted to non-stationary processes an asymptotically pivotal test for the hypothesis of a relevant deviation is constructed. The results are illustrated by means of a simulation study and a data example.
