In this paper we present an approach to quadratic structures in derived algebraic geometry. We define derived n-shifted quadratic complexes, over derived affine stacks and over general derived stacks, and give several examples of those. We define the associated notion of derived Clifford algebra, in all these contexts, and compare it with its classical version, when they both apply. Finally, we prove three main existence results for derived shifted quadratic forms over derived stacks, define a derived version of the Grothendieck-Witt group of a derived stack, and compare it to the classical one.

One of the main goals of these notes is to explain how rotations in reals^n are induced by the action of a certain group, Spin(n), on reals^n, in a way that generalizes the action of the unit complex numbers, U(1), on reals^2, and the action of the u nit quaternions, SU(2), on reals^3 (i.e., the action is defined in terms of multiplication in a larger algebra containing both the group Spin(n) and reals^n). The group Spin(n), called a spinor group, is defined as a certain subgroup of units of an algebra, Cl_n, the Clifford algebra associated with reals^n. Since the spinor groups are certain well chosen subgroups of units of Clifford algebras, it is necessary to investigate Clifford algebras to get a firm understanding of spinor groups. These notes provide a tutorial on Clifford algebra and the groups Spin and Pin, including a study of the structure of the Clifford algebra Cl_{p, q} associated with a nondegenerate symmetric bilinear form of signature (p, q) and culminating in the beautiful 8-periodicity theorem of Elie Cartan and Raoul Bott (with proofs).

We construct the etale motivic Borel-Moore homology of derived Artin stacks. Using a derived version of the intrinsic normal cone, we construct fundamental classes of quasi-smooth derived Artin stacks and demonstrate functoriality, base change, exces s intersection, and Grothendieck-Riemann-Roch formulas. These classes also satisfy a general cohomological Bezout theorem which holds without any transversity hypotheses. The construction is new even for classical stacks and as one application we extend Gabbers proof of the absolute purity conjecture to Artin stacks.

These are some notes on the basic properties of algebraic K-theory and G-theory of derived algebraic spaces and stacks, and the theory of fundamental classes in this setting.
We study the representation theoretic results of the binary cubic generic Clifford algebra $mathcal C$, which is an Artin-Schelter regular algebra of global dimension five. In particular, we show that $mathcal C$ is a PI algebra of PI degree three an d compute its point variety and discriminant ideals. As a consequence, we give a necessary and sufficient condition on a binary cubic form $f$ for the associated Clifford algebra $mathcal C_f$ to be an Azumaya algebra.
We extend the stable motivic homotopy category of Voevodsky to the class of scalloped algebraic stacks, and show that it admits the formalism of Grothendiecks six operations. Objects in this category represent generalized cohomology theories for stac ks like algebraic K-theory, as well as new examples like genuine motivic cohomology and algebraic cobordism. These cohomology theories admit Gysin maps and satisfy homotopy invariance, localization, and Mayer-Vietoris. We also prove a fixed point localization formula for torus actions. Finally, the construction is contrasted with a limit-extended stable motivic homotopy category: we show for example that limit-extended motivic cohomology of quotient stacks is computed by the equivariant higher Chow groups of Edidin-Graham, and we also get a good new theory of Borel-equivariant algebraic cobordism.
