We suggest a new adiabatic approach for description of three charged particles in the continuum. This approach is based on the Coulomb-Fourier transformation (CFT) of three body Hamiltonian, which allows to develop a scheme, alternative to Born-Oppenheimer one. The approach appears as an expansion of the kernels of corresponding integral transformations in terms of small mass-ratio parameter. To be specific, the results are presented for the system $ppe$ in the continuum. The wave function of a such system is compared with that one which is used for estimation of the rate for triple reaction $ p+p+eto d+ u, $ which take place as a step of $pp$-cycle in the center of the Sun. The problem of microscopic screening for this particular reaction is discussed.
A detailed-level collisional-radiative model for the M1 transition spectrum of the Ca-like W$^{54+}$ ion as observed in an electron beam ion trap (EBIT) was constructed based on atomic data calculated by the relativistic configuration interaction met
Three-body recombination, an important collisional process in plasmas, increases dramatically at low electron temperatures, with an accepted scaling of T_e^-9/2. We measure three-body recombination in an ultracold neutral xenon plasma by detecting re
We consider a system of charged particles moving on the real line driven by electrostatic interactions. Since we consider charges of both signs, collisions might occur in finite time. Upon collision, some of the colliding particles are effectively re
As suggested by some extensions of the Standard Model of particle physics, dark matter may be a super-weakly interacting lightest stable particle, while the next-to-lightest particle (NLP) is charged and meta-stable. One could test such a possibility
The Earths magnetotail is characterized by stretched magnetic field lines. Energetic particles are effectively scattered due to the field-line curvature, which then leads to isotropization of energetic particle distributions and particle precipitatio
