A vector-dominance two-photon exchange model is proposed to explain the recently observed production of $rho^0rho^0$ and $rho^0phi$ pairs in $e^+e^-$ annihilation at 10.58 GeV with the BaBar detector. All the observed features of the data --angular and decay distributions, rates-- are in agreement with the model. Predictions are made for yet-unobserved final states.

We study, at leading order in the large number of colours expansion and within the Resonance Chiral Theory framework, the odd-intrinsic-parity $e^+ e^- rightarrow pi^+ pi^- (pi^0, eta)$ cross-sections in the energy regime populated by hadron resonanc es, namely $3 , m_{pi} lsim E lsim 2 , mbox{GeV}$. In addition we implement our results in the Monte Carlo generator PHOKHARA 7.0 and we simulate hadron production through the radiative return method.
We calculate cross sections of a pair $B_c$ meson production on the basis of two-photon mechanism from electron-positron annihilation. We investigate the production cross sections in nonrelativistic approximation and with the account of relativistic corrections. Relativistic production amplitudes of S-wave pair pseudoscalar, vector and pseudoscalar+vector $B_c$-mesons are constructed on the basis of relativistic quark model. Numerical values of the production cross sections are obtained at different center-of-mass energies. The comparison of one-photon and two-photon annihilation contributions is presented.
In this paper we consider the process of subthreshold electron-positron pairs creation in the region of laser conversion. The total number of positrons and their distribution are obtained. This phenomena is offered for use as a good test to examine n onlinear effects of quantum electrodynamics on TESLA.
If the $X(3872)$ is a weakly bound charm-meson molecule, it can be produced in $e^+ e^-$ annihilation by the creation of $D^{*0} bar D^{*0}$ from a virtual photon followed by the rescattering of the P-wave charm-meson pair into the $X$ and a photon. A triangle singularity produces a narrow peak in the cross section for $e^+ e^- to X gamma$ 2.2 MeV above the $D^{*0} bar{D}^{*0}$ threshold. We predict the normalized cross section in the region of the peak. We show that the absorptive contribution to the cross section for $e^+ e^- to D^{*0} bar D^{*0} to X gamma$, which was calculated previously by Dubynskiy and Voloshin, does not give a good approximation to the peak from the triangle singularity.

A completely relativistic quark model in the Bethe-Salpter framework is employed to calculate the exclusive production ratio of the neutral over charged Kaon pair in $e^+e^-$ annihilation continuum region for center of mass energies smaller than the $J/Psi$ mass. The valence quark charge plays the key r^{o}le. The cancellation of the diagrams for the same charge case (in $K_S + K_L$) and the non-cancellation of the diagrams for the different charge case (in $K^-+K^+$) lead to the ratio as $(m_s-m_d)^2/M_{Kaon}^2 sim 1/10$.
