A method to reconstruct sleptons in cascade-decays at the FLC is presented. It is shown that experimental mass-resolutions as low as 8.7 MeV/c^2 are attainable.

Measurement of the Higgs coupling to W-bosons is an important test of our understanding of the electroweak symmetry breaking mechanism. We study the sensitivity of the International Linear Collider (ILC) to the presence of anomalous HW+W- couplings u sing ZH -> nu nu WW* -> nu nu 4j events. Using an effective Lagrangian approach, we calculate the differential decay rates of the Higgs boson including the effects of new dimension-5 operators. We present a Monte Carlo simulation of events at the ILC, using a full detector simulation based on geant4 and a real event reconstruction chain. Expected constraints on the anomalous couplings are given.
A new technique for improving the precision of measurements of SUSY particle masses at the LHC is introduced. The technique involves kinematic fitting of events with two fully identified decay chains. We incorporate both event ETmiss constraints and independent constraints provided by kinematic end-points in experiment invariant mass distributions of SUSY decay products. Incorporation of the event specific information maximises the information used in the fit and is shown to reduce the mass measurement uncertainites by ~30% compared to conventional fitting of experiment end-point constraints for the SPS1a benchmark model.

We explore how the polarization of the tau leptons in the cascade decay $tilde{q}to qtildechi^0_2to qtautildetauto qtautautildechi^0_1$ can be exploited to study mixing properties of neutralinos and staus. We present details of the analysis including experimental effects such as transverse momentum cuts for the $tautopi u$ decay mode, and show that the di-pion invariant mass distribution provides valuable information on their properties.
A comprehensive review of physics at an e+e- Linear Collider in the energy range of sqrt{s}=92 GeV--3 TeV is presented in view of recent and expected LHC results, experiments from low energy as well as astroparticle physics. The report focuses in part icular on Higgs boson, Top quark and electroweak precision physics, but also discusses several models of beyond the Standard Model physics such as Supersymmetry, little Higgs models and extra gauge bosons. The connection to cosmology has been analyzed as well.
We review the use of invariant mass distributions in cascade decays to measure the masses of New Physics (NP) particles in scenarios where the final NP cascade particle is invisible. We extend earlier work by exploring further the problem of multiple solutions for the masses.
