We explore how the polarization of the tau leptons in the cascade decay $tilde{q}to qtildechi^0_2to qtautildetauto qtautautildechi^0_1$ can be exploited to study mixing properties of neutralinos and staus. We present details of the analysis including experimental effects such as transverse momentum cuts for the $tautopi u$ decay mode, and show that the di-pion invariant mass distribution provides valuable information on their properties.
$tau$ leptons emitted in cascade decays of supersymmetric particles are polarized. The polarization may be exploited to determine spin and mixing properties of the neutralinos and stau particles involved.
We discuss the potential to observe effects of CP violation in squark decay chains at the LHC. As the CP-violating observable we use the asymmetry composed by triple products of final state momenta. Extending methods for momentum reconstruction we sh
In this paper, we discuss application of the TauSpinner package as a simulation tool for measuring the CP state of the newly discovered Higgs boson using the transverse spin correlations in the H to tau tau decay channel. We discuss application for i
We investigate the prospects of discovering the top quark decay into a charm quark and a Higgs boson ($t to c h^0$) in top quark pair production at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC). A general two Higgs doublet model is adopted to study flavor cha
The tau-lepton plays an important role in the physics program at LHC. Its spin can be used for separation of signal from background or in measuring properties of New Particles decaying to tau leptons. The TauSpinner package represents a tool to mod
