The processes of muons (tau) and charged pions pairs production at electron-positron annihilation with first order radiative corrections are considered. The calculation results are presented assuming the energies of final particles (cms implied) to be not far significantly from threshold production. The invariant mass distributions for the muon (tau) and pion pairs are obtained both for the initial and final state radiation. Some analytical calculations are illustrated numerically. The pions were assumed to be point-like objects and scalar QED was applied for calculation. The QED radiative corrections related to the final state radiation, additional to the well known Coulomb factor, are treated near threshold region exactly.
Events with tagged photons in the process of electron-positron annihilation into hadrons are considered. The initial state radiation is suggested to scan the hadronic cross section with the energy. QED radiative corrections are taken into account. Th
The reactions of electron-positron to nucleon-antinucleon pairs are studied in a non-perturbative quark model. The work suggests that the two-step process, in which the primary quark-antiquark pair forms first a vector meson which in turn decays into
We report measurements of the production cross sections of charged pions, kaons, and protons as a function of fractional energy, the event-shape variable called thrust, and the transverse momentum with respect to the thrust axis. These measurements a
We present an extraction of azimuthal correlations between two pairs of charged pions detected in opposite jets from electron-positron annihilation. These correlations may arise from the dependence of the di-pion fragmentation on the polarization of
The muon collider represents one of the most promising solutions for a future machine exploring the high energy frontier, but several challenges due to the 2.2 $mu$sec muon lifetime at rest have to be carefully considered. The LEMMA project is invest
