We consider the $pi^+pi^-pi_0gamma$ final state in electron-positron annihilation at cms energies not far from the threshold. Both initial and final state radiations of the hard photon is considered but without interference between them. The amplitude for the final state radiation is obtained by using the effective Wess-Zumino-Witten Lagrangian for pion-photon interactions valid for low energies. In real experiments energies are never such small that $rho$ and $omega$ mesons would have negligible effect. So a phenomenological Breit-Wigner factor is introduced in the final state radiation amplitude to account for the vector mesons influence. Using radiative 3$pi$ production amplitudes, a Monte Carlo event generator was developed which could be useful in experimental studies.

Heavy fermion pair production in $e^+e^-$ annihilation is a fundamental process in hadron physics and is of considerable interest for various phenomena. In this paper, we will apply the Principle of Maximum Conformality (PMC) to provide a comprehensi ve analysis of these processes. The PMC provides a systematic, unambiguous method for determining the renormalization scales of the QCD coupling constant for single-scale and multiple-scale applications. The resulting predictions eliminate any renormalization scheme-and-scale ambiguities, eliminate the factorial renormalon divergences, and are consistent with the requirements of the renormalization group. It is remarkable that two distinctly different scales are determined by using the PMC for heavy fermion pair production near the threshold region. One scale is the order of the fermion mass $m_f$, which enters the hard virtual corrections, and the other scale is of order $ v,m_f$, where $v$ is the quark velocity, which enters the Coulomb rescattering amplitude. The PMC scales yield the correct physical behavior and reflect the virtuality of the propagating gluons (photons) for the QCD (QED) processes. Moreover, we demonstrate the consistency of PMC scale setting from QCD to QED. Perfect agreement between the Abelian unambiguous Gell-Mann-Low and the PMC scale-setting methods in the limit of zero number of colors is demonstrated.

We have calculated the complete electroweak O(alpha) radiative corrections to the single Higgs-boson production processes e+ e- --> nu_l anti-nu_l H (l=e,mu,tau) in the electroweak Standard Model. Initial-state radiation beyond O(alpha) is included i n the structure-function approach. The calculation of the corrections is briefly described, and numerical results are presented for the total cross section. In the G_mu scheme, the bulk of the corrections is due to initial-state radiation, which affects the cross section at the level of -7% at high energies and even more in the ZH threshold region. The remaining bosonic and fermionic corrections are at the level of a few per cent. The confusing situation in the literature regarding differing results for the fermionic corrections to this process is clarified.

We study, at leading order in the large number of colours expansion and within the Resonance Chiral Theory framework, the odd-intrinsic-parity $e^+ e^- rightarrow pi^+ pi^- (pi^0, eta)$ cross-sections in the energy regime populated by hadron resonanc es, namely $3 , m_{pi} lsim E lsim 2 , mbox{GeV}$. In addition we implement our results in the Monte Carlo generator PHOKHARA 7.0 and we simulate hadron production through the radiative return method.

The recently completed calculation of the full electroweak O(alpha) corrections to the charged-current four-fermion production processes e+e- --> nu_tau tau+ mu- anti-nu_mu, u anti-d mu- anti-nu_mu, and u anti-d s anti-c is briefly reviewed. The calc ulation is performed using complex gauge-boson masses, supplemented by complex couplings to restore gauge invariance. The evaluation of the occurring one-loop tensor integrals, which include 5- and 6-point functions, requires new techniques. The effects of the complete O(alpha) corrections to the total cross section and to some differential cross sections of physical interest are discussed and compared to predictions based on the double-pole approximation, revealing that the latter approximation is not sufficient to fully exploit the potential of a future linear collider in an analysis of W-boson pairs at high energies.
If the $X(3872)$ is a weakly bound charm-meson molecule, it can be produced in $e^+ e^-$ annihilation by the creation of $D^{*0} bar D^{*0}$ from a virtual photon followed by the rescattering of the P-wave charm-meson pair into the $X$ and a photon. A triangle singularity produces a narrow peak in the cross section for $e^+ e^- to X gamma$ 2.2 MeV above the $D^{*0} bar{D}^{*0}$ threshold. We predict the normalized cross section in the region of the peak. We show that the absorptive contribution to the cross section for $e^+ e^- to D^{*0} bar D^{*0} to X gamma$, which was calculated previously by Dubynskiy and Voloshin, does not give a good approximation to the peak from the triangle singularity.
