The magnetic moment ($a_gamma$) and weak magnetic moment ($a_W$) of charged leptons and quarks are sensitive to quantum effects of new physics heavy resonances. In effective field theory $a_gamma$ and $a_W$ are induced by two independent operators, therefore, one has to measure both the $a_gamma$ and $a_W$ to shed lights on new physics. The $a_W$s of the SM fermions are measured at the LEP. In this work, we analyze the contributions from magnetic and weak magnetic moment operators in the processes of $ppto H gamma$ and $ggto H to tau^+ tau^- gamma$ at the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider. We demonstrate that the two processes could cover most of the parameter space that cannot be probed at the LEP.

In phenomenological preparation for new measurements one searches for the carriers of quality signatures. Often, the first approach quantities may be difficult to measure or to provide sufficiently precise predictions for comparisons. Complexity of necessary details grow with precision. To achieve the goal one can not break the theory principles, and take into account effects which could be ignored earlier. Mixed approach where dominant effects are taken into account with intuitive even simplistic approach was developed. Non dominant corrections were controlled with the help of Monte Carlo simulations. Concept of Optimal Variables was successfully applied for many measurements. New techniques, like Machine Learning, offer solutions to exploit multidimensional signatures. Complementarity of these new and old approaches is studied for the example of Higgs Boson CP-parity measurements in H to tau^+tau^-, tau^pm to nu (3pi)^pm cascade decays.
The size of the branching ratios for the $tau to mu gamma$ and $tau to mu gamma gamma$ decays induced by a lepton flavor violating Higgs interaction $Htau mu$ is studied in the frame of effective field theories. The best constraint on the $Htau mu$ v ertex, derived from the know measurement on the muon anomalous magnetic moment, is used to impose the upper bounds $Br(tau to mu gamma)<2.5times 10^{-10}$ and $Br(tau to mu gamma gamma)<2.3times 10^{-12}$, which are more stringent than current experimental limits on this class of transitions.
In this paper we show that the excess of the tau tau events with respect to the Standard Model background predictions, observed by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations and interpreted as the evidence of the Higgs-boson decay into a pair of tau-leptons, m ay be accounted for by properly taking into account QED radiative corrections in the modelling of the Z/gamma* -> tau tau background.
Machine Learning (ML) techniques are rapidly finding a place among the methods of High Energy Physics data analysis. Different approaches are explored concerning how much effort should be put into building high-level variables based on physics insigh t into the problem, and when it is enough to rely on low-level ones, allowing ML methods to find patterns without explicit physics model. In this paper we continue the discussion of previous publications on the CP state of the Higgs boson measurement of the H to tau tau decay channel with the consecutive tau^pm to rho^pm nu; rho^pm to pi^pm pi^0 and tau^pm to a_1^pm nu; a_1^pm to rho^0 pi^pm to 3 pi^pm cascade decays. The discrimination of the Higgs boson CP state is studied as a binary classification problem between CP-even (scalar) and CP-odd (pseudoscalar), using Deep Neural Network (DNN). Improvements on the classification from the constraints on directly non-measurable outgoing neutrinos are discussed. We find, that once added, they enhance the sensitivity sizably, even if only imperfect information is provided. In addition to DNN we also evaluate and compare other ML methods: Boosted Trees (BT), Random Forest (RF) and Support Vector Machine (SVN).
We study the one loop electroweak radiative corrections to $h^0to bbar{b}$ and $h^0to tau^+tau^-$ in the framework of two Higgs doublet Model (2HDM). We evaluate the deviation of these couplings from their Standard Model (SM) values. $h^0to bbar{b} $ and $h^0to tau^+tau^-$ may receives large contribution from triple couplings $h^0H^0H^0$, $H^0h^0h^0$, $h^0A^0A^0$ and $h^0H^+H^-$ which are absent in the Standard Model. It is found that in 2HDM, these corrections could be significant and may reach more than 20% for not tow heavy $H^0$ or $A^0$ or $H^pm$. We also study the ratio of branching ratios $R=BR(h^0to bbar{b})/BR(h^0to tau^+tau^-)$ of Higgs boson decays which could be used to disentangle SM from other models such as 2HDM.
