Graph matching pairs corresponding nodes across two or more graphs. The problem is difficult as it is hard to capture the structural similarity across graphs, especially on large graphs. We propose to incorporate high-order information for matching large-scale graphs. Iterated line graphs are introduced for the first time to describe such high-order information, based on which we present a new graph matching method, called High-order Graph Matching Network (HGMN), to learn not only the local structural correspondence, but also the hyperedge relations across graphs. We theoretically prove that iterated line graphs are more expressive than graph convolution networks in terms of aligning nodes. By imposing practical constraints, HGMN is made scalable to large-scale graphs. Experimental results on a variety of settings have shown that, HGMN acquires more accurate matching results than the state-of-the-art, verifying our method effectively captures the structural similarity across different graphs.

Data integration has been studied extensively for decades and approached from different angles. However, this domain still remains largely rule-driven and lacks universal automation. Recent developments in machine learning and in particular deep lear ning have opened the way to more general and efficient solutions to data-integration tasks. In this paper, we demonstrate an approach that allows modeling and integrating entities by leveraging their relations and contextual information. This is achieved by combining siamese and graph neural networks to effectively propagate information between connected entities and support high scalability. We evaluated our approach on the task of integrating data about business entities, demonstrating that it outperforms both traditional rule-based systems and other deep learning approaches.
Code retrieval is to find the code snippet from a large corpus of source code repositories that highly matches the query of natural language description. Recent work mainly uses natural language processing techniques to process both query texts (i.e. , human natural language) and code snippets (i.e., machine programming language), however neglecting the deep structured features of query texts and source codes, both of which contain rich semantic information. In this paper, we propose an end-to-end deep graph matching and searching (DGMS) model based on graph neural networks for the task of semantic code retrieval. To this end, we first represent both natural language query texts and programming language code snippets with the unified graph-structured data, and then use the proposed graph matching and searching model to retrieve the best matching code snippet. In particular, DGMS not only captures more structural information for individual query texts or code snippets but also learns the fine-grained similarity between them by cross-attention based semantic matching operations. We evaluate the proposed DGMS model on two public code retrieval datasets with two representative programming languages (i.e., Java and Python). Experiment results demonstrate that DGMS significantly outperforms state-of-the-art baseline models by a large margin on both datasets. Moreover, our extensive ablation studies systematically investigate and illustrate the impact of each part of DGMS.
Entity alignment which aims at linking entities with the same meaning from different knowledge graphs (KGs) is a vital step for knowledge fusion. Existing research focused on learning embeddings of entities by utilizing structural information of KGs for entity alignment. These methods can aggregate information from neighboring nodes but may also bring noise from neighbors. Most recently, several researchers attempted to compare neighboring nodes in pairs to enhance the entity alignment. However, they ignored the relations between entities which are also important for neighborhood matching. In addition, existing methods paid less attention to the positive interactions between the entity alignment and the relation alignment. To deal with these issues, we propose a novel Relation-aware Neighborhood Matching model named RNM for entity alignment. Specifically, we propose to utilize the neighborhood matching to enhance the entity alignment. Besides comparing neighbor nodes when matching neighborhood, we also try to explore useful information from the connected relations. Moreover, an iterative framework is designed to leverage the positive interactions between the entity alignment and the relation alignment in a semi-supervised manner. Experimental results on three real-world datasets demonstrate that the proposed model RNM performs better than state-of-the-art methods.
Heterogeneous graph is a kind of data structure widely existing in real life. Nowadays, the research of graph neural network on heterogeneous graph has become more and more popular. The existing heterogeneous graph neural network algorithms mainly ha ve two ideas, one is based on meta-path and the other is not. The idea based on meta-path often requires a lot of manual preprocessing, at the same time it is difficult to extend to large scale graphs. In this paper, we proposed the general heterogeneous message passing paradigm and designed R-GSN that does not need meta-path, which is much improved compared to the baseline R-GCN. Experiments have shown that our R-GSN algorithm achieves the state-of-the-art performance on the ogbn-mag large scale heterogeneous graph dataset.
Conceptual graphs, which is a particular type of Knowledge Graphs, play an essential role in semantic search. Prior conceptual graph construction approaches typically extract high-frequent, coarse-grained, and time-invariant concepts from formal text s. In real applications, however, it is necessary to extract less-frequent, fine-grained, and time-varying conceptual knowledge and build taxonomy in an evolving manner. In this paper, we introduce an approach to implementing and deploying the conceptual graph at Alibaba. Specifically, We propose a framework called AliCG which is capable of a) extracting fine-grained concepts by a novel bootstrapping with alignment consensus approach, b) mining long-tail concepts with a novel low-resource phrase mining approach, c) updating the graph dynamically via a concept distribution estimation method based on implicit and explicit user behaviors. We have deployed the framework at Alibaba UC Browser. Extensive offline evaluation as well as online A/B testing demonstrate the efficacy of our approach.
