The relativistic bound-state energy spectrum and the wavefunctions for the Coulomb potential are studied for de Sitter and anti-de Sitter spaces in the context of the extended uncertainty principle. Klein-Gordon and Dirac equations are solved analytically to obtain the results. The electron energies of hydrogen-like atoms are studied numerically.

The Generalized Uncertainty Principle and the related minimum length are normally considered in non-relativistic Quantum Mechanics. Extending it to relativistic theories is important for having a Lorentz invariant minimum length and for testing the m odified Heisenberg principle at high energies. In this paper, we formulate a relativistic Generalized Uncertainty Principle. We then use this to write the modified Klein-Gordon, Schrodinger and Dirac equations, and compute quantum gravity corrections to the relativistic hydrogen atom, particle in a box, and the linear harmonic oscillator.

We study the quantum-mechanical uncertainty relation originating from the successive measurement of two observables $hat{A}$ and $hat{B}$, with eigenvalues $a_n$ and $b_m$, respectively, performed on the same system. We use an extension of the von Ne umann model of measurement, in which two probes interact with the same system proper at two successive times, so we can exhibit how the disturbing effect of the first interaction affects the second measurement. Detecting the statistical properties of the second {em probe} variable $Q_2$ conditioned on the first {em probe} measurement yielding $Q_1$ we obtain information on the statistical distribution of the {em system} variable $b_m$ conditioned on having found the system variable $a_n$ in the interval $delta a$ around $a^{(n)}$. The width of this statistical distribution as function of $delta a$ constitutes an {em uncertainty relation}. We find a general connection of this uncertainty relation with the commutator of the two observables that have been measured successively. We illustrate this relation for the successive measurement of position and momentum in the discrete and in the continuous cases and, within a model, for the successive measurement of a more general class of observables.
We present a formalism which allows for the perturbative derivation of the Extended Uncertainty Principle (EUP) for arbitrary spatial curvature models and observers. Entering the realm of small position uncertainties, we derive a general asymptotic E UP. The leading 2nd order curvature induced correction is proportional to the Ricci scalar, while the 4th order correction features the 0th order Cartan invariant Psi^2 (a scalar quadratic in curvature tensors) and the curved space Laplacian of the Ricci scalar all of which are evaluated at the expectation value of the position operator, i.e. the expected position when performing a measurement. This result is first verified for previously derived homogeneous space models and then applied to other non-trivial curvature related effects such as inhomogeneities, rotation and an anisotropic stress fluid leading to black hole hair. Our main achievement combines the method we introduce with the Generalized Uncertainty Principle (GUP) by virtue of deformed commutators to formulate a generic form of what we call the Asymptotic Generalized Extended Uncertainty Principle (AGEUP).
We consider a background of the violation of the Lorentz symmetry determined by the tensor $left( K_{F}right)_{mu ualphabeta}$ which governs the Lorentz symmetry violation out of the Standard Model Extension, where this background gives rise to a Cou lomb-type potential, and then, we analyse its effects on a relativistic quantum oscillator. Furthermore, we analyse the behaviour of the relativistic quantum oscillator under the influence of a linear scalar potential and this background of the Lorentz symmetry violation. We show in both cases that analytical solutions to the Klein-Gordon equation can be achieved.
Quantum heat cycles and quantum refrigerators are analyzed using various quantum systems as their working mediums. For example, to evaluate the efficiency and the work done of the Carnot cycle in the quantum regime, one can consider the harmonic osci llator as its working medium. For all these well-defined working substances (which are analyzed in commutative space structure), the efficiency of the engine is not up to the mark of the Carnot efficiency. So, one inevitable question arise, can one observe a catalytic effect on the efficiency of the engines and refrigerators when the space structure is changed? In this paper, two different working substance in non-commutative spacetime with relativistic and generalized uncertainty principle corrections has been considered for the analysis of the efficiency of the heat engine cycles. The efficiency of the quantum heat engine gets a boost for higher values of the non-commutative parameter with a harmonic oscillator as the working substance. In the case of the second working medium (one-dimensional infinite potential well), the efficiency shows a constant result in the non-commutative space structure.
