In the framework of the Standard Model we present predictions for partial widths, double and single differential distributions, and forward--backward lepton asymmetries for four-leptonic decays $B^- to mu^+mu^- {bar u}_e, e^-$, $B^- to e^+ e^- {bar u}_mu,mu^-$, $B^- to mu^+ mu^-{bar u}_mu,mu^-$, and $B^- to e^+ e^- {bar u}_e, e^-$. We consider the contributions of virtual photon emission from the light and heavy quarks of the $B^-$--meson, and we include bremsstrahlung of a virtual photon from the charged lepton in the final state. We use the model of vector meson dominance for calculation of virtual photon emission by the light quark of the $B^-$--meson and take into account the isotopic correction.

This is the report of the Intensity Frontier Charged Lepton Working Group of the 2013 Community Summer Study Snowmass on the Mississippi, summarizing the current status and future experimental opportunities in muon and tau lepton studies and their se nsitivity to new physics. These include searches for charged lepton flavor violation, measurements of magnetic and electric dipole moments, and precision measurements of the decay spectrum and parity-violating asymmetries.
CP asymmetries have been measured recently by the LHCb collaboration in three-body $B^+$ decays to final states involving charged pions and kaons. Large asymmetries with opposite signs at a level of about 60% have been observed in $B^pmto pi^pm({rm o r} K^pm)pi^+pi^-$ and $B^pm to pi^pm K^+K^-$ for restricted regions in the Dalitz plots involving $pi^+pi^-$ and $K^+K^-$ with low invariant mass. U-spin is shown to predict corresponding $Delta S=0$ and $Delta S=1$ asymmetries with opposite signs and inversely proportional to their branching ratios, in analogy with a successful relation predicted thirteen years ago between asymmetries in $B_sto K^-pi^+$ and $B^0 to K^+ pi^-$. We compare these predictions with the measured integrated asymmetries. Effects of specific resonant or non-resonant partial waves on enhanced asymmetries for low-pair-mass regions of the Dalitz plot are studied in $B^pm to pi^pm pi^+pi^-$. The closure of low-mass $pi^+pi^-$ and $K^+K^-$ channels involving only $pipi leftrightarrow Kbar K$ rescattering may explain by CPT approximately equal magnitudes and opposite signs measured in $B^pmto pi^pmpi^+pi^-$ and $B^pm to pi^pm K^+K^-$.
Inspired by the potential prospects of LHCb, Belle-II, STCF, CEPC and FCC-ee experiments, we discussed the probabilities of experimental investigation on the purely leptonic decays of the ground charged vector mesons including ${rho}^{pm}$, $K^{{ast} {pm}}$, $D_{d,s}^{{ast}{pm}}$ and $B_{u,c}^{{ast}{pm}}$.
The BaBar Collaboration has recently reported branching fractions for semileptonic decays of the $B$ meson into final states with charged and neutral $D_{1}(2420)$ and $D_{2}^{ast}(2460)$, two narrow orbitally excited charmed mesons. We evaluate thes e branching fractions within the framework of a constituent quark model in two steps, one which involves a semileptonic decay and the other one mediated by a strong process. Our results are in agreement with the experimental data.
We study the indirect effects of New Physics in the Higgs decay into four charged leptons, using an Effective Field Theory (EFT) approach to Higgs interactions. We evaluate the deviations induced by the EFT dimension-six operators in observables like partial decay width and various kinematic distributions, including angular observables, and compare them with the contribution of the full SM electroweak corrections. The calculation is implemented in an improved version of the event generator Hto4l, which can provide predictions in terms of different EFT-bases and is available for data analysis at the LHC. We also perform a phenomenological study in order to assess the benefits coming from the inclusion of differential information in the future analyses of very precise data which will be collected during the high luminosity phase of the LHC.
