In this work, the thermodynamic property of pseudoharmonic potential in the presence of external magnetic and AB fields is investigated. We used effective Boltzmann factor within the superstatistics formalism to obtain the thermodynamic properties such as Helmholtz free energy (F), Internal energy (U), entropy(S) and specific heat (C) of the system. In addition, we discuss the result of the thermodynamic properties of some selected diatomic molecules of N2, Cl2, I2 and CH using their experimental spectroscopic parameters and that of the variation of the deformation parameter of q=0,0.3,0.7. We also illustrated with some graphs for clarity of our results in both cases.

In this study, the Schrodinger equation (SE) with screened Kratzer potential (SKP) in the presence of external magnetic and AB-flux fields is investigated using the factorization method. The eigenvalue and eigenfunction for the system are obtained in closed form. It is found that the present of the magnetic field partially removes the degeneracy when the screening parameter of the potential was small but the addition of the AB field removed the degeneracy faster and better. The magnetization and magnetic susceptibility of the system are evaluated at zero and finite temperatures and other thermodynamic properties of the system are discussed. More so, the presence of the AB-flux field makes the system to exhibit a both a paramagnetic and diamagnetic behavior. A straight forward extension of these results to three dimension shows that the present result is consistent with those obtained in literature.
By using the wave function ansatz method, we study the energy eigenvalues and wave function for any arbitrary $m$-state in two-dimensional Schr{o}dinger wave equation with various power interaction potentials in constant magnetic and Aharonov-Bohm (A B) flux fields perpendicular to the plane where the interacting particles are confined. We calculate the energy levels of some diatomic molecules in the presence and absence of external magnetic and AB flux fields using different potential models. We found that the effect of the Aharonov-Bohm field is much as it creates a wider shift for $m eq 0$ and its influence on $m=0$ states is found to be greater than that of the magnetic field. To show the accuracy of the present model, a comparison is made with those ones obtained in the absence of external fields. An extension to 3-dimensional quantum system have also been presented.
We employ the point canonical transformation (PCT) to solve the D-dimensional Schr{o}dinger equation with position-dependent effective mass (PDEM) function for two molecular pseudoharmonic and modified Kratzer (Mie-type) potentials. In mapping the tr ansformed exactly solvable D-dimensional ($Dgeq 2$) Schr{o}dinger equation with constant mass into the effective mass equation by employing a proper transformation, the exact bound state solutions including the energy eigenvalues and corresponding wave functions are derived. The well-known pseudoharmonic and modified Kratzer exact eigenstates of various dimensionality is manifested.
The scattering solutions of the one-dimensional Schrodinger equation for the Woods-Saxon potential are obtained within the position-dependent mass formalism. The wave functions, transmission and reflection coefficients are calculated in terms of Heun s function. These results are also studied for the constant mass case in detail.
We present the exact solution of the Klein-Gordon equation in D-dimensions in the presence of the noncentral equal scalar and vector pseudoharmonic potential plus the new ring-shaped potential using the Nikiforov-Uvarov method. We obtain the exact bo und-state energy levels and the corresponding eigen functions for a spin-zero particles. We also find that the solution for this noncentral ring-shaped pseudoharmonic potential can be reduced to the three-dimensional pseudoharmonic solution once the coupling constant of the noncentral part of the potential becomes zero.
