We show that the fidelity of the standard quantum teleportation protocol, which utilizes an impure resource state, applied successively, can be significantly improved, when used in conjunction with a quantum switch. In particular, we find that for two such teleportation channels conjugated with the superposition of causal order, teleportation fidelity beyond the classical threshold is achieved for significantly larger noise than would be possible conventionally. One can even make the effective teleportation channel perfectly faithful for very large noise. We also discuss the generalization of our scheme for more than two pathways, and define a figure of merit in that context.

We propose a novel approach to qubit thermometry using a quantum switch, that introduces an indefinite causal order in the probe-bath interaction, to significantly enhance the thermometric precision. The resulting qubit probe shows improved precision in both low and high temperature regimes when compared to optimal qubit probes studied previously. It even performs better than a Harmonic oscillator probe, in spite of having only two energy levels rather than an infinite number of energy levels as that in a harmonic oscillator. We thereby show unambiguously that quantum resources such as the quantum switch can significantly improve equilibrium thermometry. We also derive a new form of thermodynamic uncertainty relation that is tighter and depends on the energy gap of the probe. The present work may pave the way for using indefinite causal order as a metrological resource.
Quantum teleportation provides a way to transfer unknown quantum states from one system to another, without physical transmission of the object itself. The quantum channels in perfect teleportation (with 100% success probability and fidelity) to date were limited to maximally entangled states. Here, we propose a scheme for perfect teleportation of a qubit through a high-dimensional quantum channel, in a pure state with two equal largest Schmidt coefficients. The quantum channel requires appropriate joint measurement by the sender, Alice, and enough classical information sent to the receiver, Bob. The entanglement of Alices measurement and classical bits she sends, increasing with the entanglement of quantum channel, can be regard as Alices necessary capabilities to use the quantum channel. The two capabilities appears complementary to each other, as the entanglement in Alices measurement may be partially replaced by the classical bits.
We investigate two-party quantum teleportation through noisy channels for multi-qubit Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states and find which state loses less quantum information in the process. The dynamics of states is described by the master equat ion with the noisy channels that lead to the quantum channels to be mixed states. We analytically solve the Lindblad equation for $n$-qubit GHZ states $nin{4,5,6}$ where Lindblad operators correspond to the Pauli matrices and describe the decoherence of states. Using the average fidelity we show that 3GHZ state is more robust than $n$GHZ state under most noisy channels. However, $n$GHZ state preserves same quantum information with respect to EPR and 3GHZ states where the noise is in $x$ direction in which the fidelity remains unchanged. We explicitly show that Jung ${it et, al.}$ conjecture [Phys. Rev. A ${bf 78}$, 012312 (2008)], namely, average fidelity with same-axis noisy channels are in general larger than average fidelity with different-axis noisy channels is not valid for 3GHZ and 4GHZ states.
We investigate continuous variable (CV) quantum teleportation using relevant classes of non-Gaussian states of the radiation field as entangled resources. First, we introduce the class two-mode squeezed symmetric superposition of Fock states, includi ng finite truncations of twin-beam Gaussian states as special realizations. These states depend on a set of free independent parameters that can be adjusted for the optimization of teleportation protocols, with an enhancement of the success probability of teleportation both for coherent and Fock input states. We show that the optimization procedure reduces the entangled resources to truncated twin beam states, which thus represents an optimal class of non-Gaussian resources for quantum teleportation. We then introduce a further class of two-mode non-Gaussian entangled resources, in the form of squeezed cat-like states. We analyze the performance and the properties of such states when optimized for (CV) teleportation, and compare them to the optimized squeezed Bell-like states introduced in a previous work cite{CVTelepNoi}. We discuss how optimal resources for teleportation are characterized by a suitable balance of entanglement content and squeezed vacuum affinity. We finally investigate the effects of thermal noise on the efficiency of quantum teleportation. To this aim, a convenient framework is to describe noisy entangled resources as linear superpositions of non-Gaussian state and thermal states. Although the presence of the thermal component strongly reduces the teleportation fidelity, noisy non-Gaussian states remain preferred resources when compared to noisy twin-beam Gaussian states.
We analyze the average fidelity (say, F) and the fidelity deviation (say, D) in noisy-channel quantum teleportation. Here, F represents how well teleportation is performed on average and D quantifies whether the teleportation is performed impartially on the given inputs, that is, the condition of universality. Our analysis results prove that the achievable maximum average fidelity ensures zero fidelity deviation, that is, perfect universality. This structural trait of teleportation is distinct from those of other limited-fidelity probabilistic quantum operations, for instance, universal-NOT or quantum cloning. This feature is confirmed again based on a tighter relationship between F and D in the qubit case. We then consider another realistic noise model where F decreases and D increases due to imperfect control. To alleviate such deterioration, we propose a machine-learning-based algorithm. We demonstrate by means of numerical simulations that the proposed algorithm can stabilize the system. Notably, the recovery process consists solely of the maximization of F, which reduces the control time, thus leading to a faster cure cycle.
