I shall recall in historical perspective some results from nineties and show further how $kappa$-deformed symmetries and $kappa$-Minkowski space inspired DSR (Doubly of Deformed Special Relativity) approach proposed after 2000. As very recent development I shall show how to describe quantum-covariant $kappa$-deformed phase spaces by passing from Hopf algebras to Hopf algebroids (arXiv:1507.02612) and I will briefly describe the $kappa$-deformations of $AdS_5 times S^5$ superstring target spaces (arXiv:1510.030.83).
In this chapter we review concepts and theories of polymer dynamics. We think of it as an introduction to the topic for scientists specializing in other subfields of statistical mechanics and condensed matter theory, so, for the readers reference, we
In this talk, we describe recent developments in the Skyrme model. Our main focus is on discussing various effects which need to be taken into account, when calculating the properties of light atomic nuclei in the Skyrme model. We argue that an impor
We review recent developments in the type IIB matrix model, which was conjectured to be a nonperturbative formulation of superstring theory. In the first part we review the recent results for the Euclidean model, which suggest that SO(10) symmetry is
Recent theoretical developments in hydrodynamics of particles with spin 1/2 are briefly reviewed.
A review of the present status, recent enhancements, and applicability of the SIESTA program is presented. Since its debut in the mid-nineties, SIESTAs flexibility, efficiency and free distribution has given advanced materials simulation capabilities
