The abundant production of lepton pairs via $J/Psi$ creation at COMPASS, $pi ^pm , p^uparrow to J/Psi , X to ell^+ ell^- X$, allows a measurement of the transverse Single Spin Asymmetry generated by the Sivers effect. The crucial issue of the sign change of the Sivers function in lepton pair production, with respect to Semi Inclusive Deep Inelastic Scattering processes, can be solved. Predictions for the expected magnitude of the Single Spin Asymmetry, which turns out to be large, are given.
We study the Sivers asymmetry in inelastic $J/psi$ leptoproduction, $ep^uparrow to e+ J/psi+X$, within a transverse momentum dependent scheme, the so-called generalized parton model (GPM). The effects of final-state interactions are properly taken in
We estimate transverse single spin asymmetry (TSSA) in electroproduction of $J/psi$ for J-Lab and EIC energies. We present estimates of TSSAs in $J/psi$ production within generalized parton model (GPM) using recent parametrizations of gluon Sivers fu
For $J/psi$ pair production at hadron colliders, we present the full next-to-leading order (NLO) calculations with the color-singlet channel in nonrelativistic QCD. We find that the NLO result can reasonably well describe the LHCb measured cross sect
I study the direct hadroproduction of Jpsi associated with a charm-quark pair at leading order in alpha_S and v in NRQCD. This process provides an interesting signature that could be studied at the Tevatron. I consider both colour-singlet and colour-
In this work, we investigate the prompt $J/psi$ production in associated with top quark pair to leading order in the nonrelativistic QCD factorization formalism at the LHC with $sqrt{s} =13$ TeV. In addition to the contribution from direct $J/psi$ pr
