We present an extensive study of non-minimally flavour violating (NMFV) terms in the Lagrangian of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM). We impose a variety of theoretical and experimental constraints and perform a detailed scan of the parameter space by means of a Markov Chain Monte-Carlo (MCMC) setup. This represents the first study of several non-zero flavour-violating elements within the MSSM. We present the results of the MCMC scan with a special focus on the flavour-violating parameters. We present an extensive study of non-minimal flavour violation in the squark sector in the framework of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. We investigate the effects of multiple non-vanishing flavour-violating elements in the squark mass matr ices by means of a Markov Chain Monte Carlo scanning technique and identify parameter combinations that are favoured by both current data and theoretical constraints. We then detail the resulting distributions of the flavour-conserving and flavour-violating model parameters. We present an extensive study of the MSSM parameter space allowing for general generation mixing in the squark sector. Employing an MCMC algorithm, we establish the parameter ranges which are allowed with respect to various experimental and theoretic al constraints. Based on this analysis, we propose benchmark scenarios for future studies. Moreover, we discuss aspects of signatures at the LHC.
We make use of the formalism developed in Ref. [1], and calculate the chargino mediated baryogenesis in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. The formalism makes use of a gradient expansion of the Kadanoff-Baym equations for mixing fermions. For illustrative purposes, we first discuss the semiclassical transport equations for mixing bosons in a space-time dependent Higgs background. To calculate the baryon asymmetry, we solve a standard set of diffusion equations, according to which the chargino asymmetry is transported to the top sector, where it biases sphaleron transitions. At the end we make a qualitative and quantitative comparison of our results with the existing work. We find that the production of the baryon asymmetry of the Universe by CP-violating currents in the chargino sector is strongly constrained by measurements of electric dipole moments.

We perform a systematic study of sneutrino production and decays in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) with slepton generation mixing. We study bosonic decays like sneutrino to slepton^- + W^+/H^+ as well as fermionic ones. We show that the effect of slepton generation mixing on the sneutrino production and decays can be quite large in a significant part of the MSSM parameter space despite the very strong experimental limits on lepton flavour violating processes. This could have an important impact on the search for sneutrinos and the determination of the MSSM parameters at future colliders, such as LHC, ILC, CLIC and muon collider.
Assuming the observation of a squark at the Large Hadron Collider, we investigate methods to access its flavour content and thus gain information on the underlying flavour structure of the theory. Based on simple observables, we apply a likelihood in ference method to determine the top-flavour content of the observed particle. In addition, we employ a multivariate analysis in order to classify different flavour hypotheses. Both methods are discussed within a simplified model and the more general Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model including most general squark mixing. We conclude that the likelihood inference may provide an estimation of the top-flavour content if additional knowledge, especially on the gaugino sector is available, while the multivariate analysis identifies different flavour patterns and can accommodate a more minimalistic set of observables.
