In this paper we show that electron-positron pairs can be pumped inexhaustibly with a constant production rate from the one dimensional potential well with oscillating depth or width. Bound states embedded in the the Dirac sea can be pulled out and pushed to the positive continuum, and become scattering states. Pauli block, which dominant the saturation of pair creation in the static super-critical potential well, can be broken by the ejection of electrons. We find that the width oscillating mode is more efficient that the depth oscillating mode. In the adiabatic limit, pair number as a function of upper boundary of the oscillating, will reveal the diving of the bound states.

The effect of linear chirp frequency on the process of electron-positron pairs production from vacuum in the combined potential wells is investigated by computational quantum field theory. Numerical results of electron number and energy spectrum unde r different frequency modulation parameters are obtained. By comparing with the fixed frequency, it is found that frequency modulation has a significant enhancement effect on the number of electrons. Especially when the frequency is small, appropriate frequency modulation enhances multiphoton processes in pair creation, thus promoting the pair creation. However, the number of electrons created by high frequency oscillating combined potential wells decreases after frequency modulation due to the phenomenon of high frequency suppression. The contours of the number of electrons varying with frequency and frequency modulation parameters are given, which may provide theoretical reference for possible experiments.

The reactions of electron-positron to nucleon-antinucleon pairs are studied in a non-perturbative quark model. The work suggests that the two-step process, in which the primary quark-antiquark pair forms first a vector meson which in turn decays into a hadron pair, is dominant over the one-step process in which the primary quark-antiquark pair is directly dressed by additional quark-antiquark pairs to form a hadron pair. To reproduce the experimental data of the reactions of electron-positron to proton-antiproton and electron-positron to neutron-antineutron a D-wave omega-like vector meson with a mass of around 2 GeV has to be introduced.
By using a usual instanton method we obtain the energy splitting due to quantum tunneling through the triple well barrier. It is shown that the term related to the midpoint of the energy splitting in propagator is quite different from that of double well case, in that it is proportional to the algebraic average of the frequencies of the left and central wells.
The zero range potential is constructed for a system of two particles interacting via the Coulomb potential. The singular part of the asymptote of the wave function at the origin which is caused by the common effect of the zero range potential singul arity and of the Coulomb potential is explicitly calculated by using the Lippmann-Schwinger type integral equation. The singular pseudo potential is constructed from the requirement that it enforces the solution to the Coulomb Schrodinger equation to possess the calculated asymptotic behavior at the origin. This pseudo potential is then used for constructing a model of the imaginary absorbing potential which allows to treat the annihilation process in positron electron collisions on the basis of the non relativistic Schrodinger equation. The functional form of the pseudo potential constructed in this paper is analogous to the well known Fermi-Breit-Huang pseudo potential. The generalization of the optical theorem on the case of the imaginary absorbing potential in presence of the Coulomb force is given in terms of the partial wave series.
We investigate specific features in the Wigner time behavior for slow electron elastic scattering by shallow potential wells. We considered two types of potentials wells, the small changes in the parameters of which lead to arising bound states in th e well. It appeared that the time delay for attractive potential wells with no bound levels always has a positive value for small electron energies and changes sign after level arising in the well. At the moment of arising the times delay has a jump. The value of this jump is as more as less is the difference in the potential well depth from its critical value. The values of times delay strongly depend on geometrical sizes of potential wells.
