This work presents an upper bound on the neutrino mass using the emission of $ u_e$ from the neutronization burst of a core collapsing supernova at 10~kpc of distance and a progenitor star of 15~M$_odot$. The calculations were done considering a 34 kton Liquid Argon Time Projection Chamber similar to the Far Detector proposal of the Long Baseline Neutrino Experiment (LBNE). We have performed a Monte Carlo simulation for the number of events integrated in 5~ms bins. Our results are $m_ u<2.71$~eV and $0.18~mbox{eV}<m_ u<1.70$~eV, at 95% C.L, assuming normal hierarchy and inverted hierarchy, respectively. We have analysed different configurations for the detector performance resulting in neutrino mass bound of $mathcal{O}(1)$~eV.
We analyze available experimental data on the total and differential charged-current cross sections for quasielastic neutrino and antineutrino scattering off nucleons, measured with a variety of nuclear targets in the accelerator experiments at ANL,
Available estimates for the energy resolution of DUNE vary by as much as a factor of four. To address this controversy, and to connect the resolution to the underlying physical processes, we build an independent simulation pipeline for neutrino event
A possible manifestation of an additional light gauge boson $A^prime$, named as Dark Photon, associated with a group $U(1)_{rm B-L}$ is studied in neutrino electron scattering experiments. The exclusion plot on the coupling constant $g_{rm B-L}$ and
We consider the impact of neutral-current (NC) non-standard neutrino interactions (NSI) on the determination of the neutrino mass ordering. We show that in presence of NSI there is an exact degeneracy which makes it impossible to determine the neutri
The electron scattering has been a vital tool to study the properties of the target nucleus for over five decades. Though, the particular interest on $^{40}$Ar nucleus stemmed from the progress in the accelerator-based neutrino-oscillation experiment
